We were a better football team last year. We are getting worse not better. I am not a DD basher but his team was unprepared last night and looked terrible.

So all of you sit behind the desk coaches tell me what you think....

They're a better team than last year. What is more disappointing or flustrating is they're making the same mistakes every week.

The talent level is strong at TN.. I set next several hotties during the game last night. Who else likes the short dresses and cowboy boots look? SOLID

I want LSU's defense - hurts to see what John Chavis has done down there in just a few years. Not trying to beat up Wilcox, but his defense only works if you have a lot of speed, and we don't have it yet.

I love my Vols, but unless there's some new chemistry between Simms and the rest of the offense, I fear LSU will shut us down on all fronts. They have the speed, and the size/strength this year.

Do you also realize that this is a younger team than last year and probably has fewer games played, collectively, than last year's squad?

Wilcox's defense would be good if he had talent as well,

Yeah, were in a "Catch-22." We don't yet have the speed or talent to run Wilcox's defense, so back to recruiting (which you should never lag on anyway). However, young recruits with good talent also means lack of maturity and lack of experience in reading and adjusting.

Like I've posted before, there's no easy way out of this. I believe it's going to take about 5 years.

I hate when we lose, but last year we had some upperclassmen. too much turnover,,,,need stability, next year will be better.
need to take twitter away from the team, too much talk

Teague and Lanier were out of position on deep balls for most of the game. If Murray didn't over-throw the ball, we would have been out of it long before half time. Linebackers looked slower than usual last night. Defensive line got little or no pressure on Murray. I understand the arguement that we are young at all positions, but we were beat by a freshman running back with a bad wrist and a freshman wide receiver that easily outran or cover guys. They were playing quite a few young players themselves last night.

Well....the Vol WR that would have outran all of the Georgia DBs tore his ACL a few weeks back. And that freshman RB would be the starter for UT if he had two bad wrists and only one good leg.

Just sayin. :)

The guy with 58yds and 3.1ypc?

I dare you to tell me you wouldn't take holding a team's leading rusher to those numbers all day/every day.

hopefully, lsu is flat and overconfident after that easy blowout win over florida. That may be UT's only chance.
