In 1999 Congress let the Independent Counsel Act expire. The Justice Department wrote new regulations allowing for special counsels who can investigate high-level executive-branch wrongdoing under the supervision of the attorney general.

The Democrats are responsible for the above, and how this current "investigation" is handled and released, and they complain now that it isn't right.......didn't like the salaciousness of the report on Clinton, and changed the law.......and now the law they are responsible for, isn't right or good enough for them now.......

Trump's agreement with that is lie # 47,322 by him. He says that publicly. But within the administration if it reflects poorly on him he will do everything he can to block it. Absolutely no one believes he wants it public if it finds collusion, obstruction, or other misconduct by him.

That’s an assumption on your part , what if the report didn’t find any of that ? Then he will have been right the whole time . Are you prepared for that happening ? right now , unless something big breaks , it’s not looking good for the visiting team .

If it's not bad, he's for full disclosure. If it is bad, he will fight tooth and nail to hide it.

He has zero integrity. None. Zilch. Nada.

Oh I get it , you skipped over the question to explain to me how I just don’t understand Trump. The question is , Are you prepared for it to go a different direction than you are hoping beyond hope it will go ? We are coming down to the wire and there’s going to be some folks that arent happy with the outcome I’m afraid .

Wouldn't change the fact that he's a loathsome human being and a con man who brings out the worst in his supporters and embarrasses the country.

No different than any other politician. Personally I think everyone that serves should release their tax returns for the past 10 years or least 7.

Trump is just trying to play the game that the swampers have been playing for decades.

Uh, Ted Kennedy was pretty bad. Killed a lady in a drunken car crash and tried covering it up and still remained a Senator. That is much worse than anything we know about Trump.
Also, Obummer and Hillary blamed Benghazi on a Video after letting those poor brave soldiers die. That is also much worse than anything we know about Trump.
