TrumPutinGate

Some redactions in a gov't document like Mueller is about file are to be expected. But if there's an attempt by AG to bury the substance of Mueller's findings then yes, there will be a problem.

How will you know which is which?

Oh right since there will have to be redactions their mere existence will be proof that the AG is covering it up and TDS continues unabated. Solid game plan.

So the Mueller probe could end but the SDNY investigation will continue on? Id say expect a big letdown from the Mueller report frankly, but the SDNY will have, if there is one, the bombshell.

Then there is no reason not to release the full report, is there?

I'd love to see you investigated for, say, wire fraud. Do a full (as described) colo-rectal on your entire life, release the report that says you were innocent, but release the titles of all of your gay midget porn collection for the whole world to see.

Well, if you weren't guilty of the wire fraud, why not release everything?

If the President, his family, team and administration are exonerated you can be assured that the AG will release everything and make it perfectly clear. If the pages of the report addressing the questions of lying, conspiracy and obstruction are hidden or redacted there will obviously be a problem and more questions asked.

The best thing for the country would be to release the report in its entirety.

Redactions will occur (by law). That is a known fact. What is redacted will be unknown (assuming properly redacted). Hence there will be no way of knowing what is missing or covered up yet a bunch of posters here have already stated they will object to redactions.

I can guarantee Dem pols will not accept the findings if Trump is not accused of indictable offenses if even a single word is redacted.

You've created a scenario that you cannot know the answer to and accordingly you are free to assume the worst and cry foul.

I wouldn't do it as he has but no one would stand by idly while an open ended investigation happens.

There's a happy medium between saying nothing and attacking an investigation every other day (including weekends/holidays).

Just as bad as the frequency is his vapid defense. It all boils down to "those people investigating me are bad," which is basically his take on everyone who doesn't kiss up to him.

It depends. I subscribe to the theory that the compromise is so great, and so important to disclose, that Mueller has carefully screened any release or action to prevent a slow drip drip of Sean Hannity-style defending of Trump. Release it all, at once, watch the cockroaches run for cover.

And allow a traitor to continue for two years? How much sense does that make?

Dan Coats is next on the chopping block. It’s really disturbing that the American people just ignore **** like this.

We probably got quite a bit of intel from our allies around the world during this investigation that spanned the globe. That information and their contributions will never be fully revealed.

As I said I wouldn't do it as he has done but I wouldn't sit by idly for this type of investigation - personally I believe it goes against the grain of our basic rights to have SCs; at least they aren't as bad as ICs.
