Things are actually working out quite well for Mr. Pence. Had the investigation finished and it learned that Trump won with the help of the Russians, it would severely have hurt Pence's credibility and chances to win in 2020. Now, with Trump literally about to crawl up into a ball and cry, then quit, Pence will take over and the establishment GOP will find a way to cut all of the investigations short. Now enter him condemning all forms of hate which was reasonable and measured considering the situation at hand and as to how early things were. He didn't jump to an automatic knee jerk reaction, which obviously meant he was a racist and the media can't stop screeching about that. Including mouth breathers like you. Of course, you're easily manipulated, so there is that. But anyway, poll numbers drop because of the partisan attacks of the media that far outweigh any reasonable objective look at what he said.
