TrumPutinGate

Our good friends, the Brits, have come to our rescue.

Speaking of whom, this is amusing. Our king wants the same treatment Putin got.

I completely missed the NY Times article from last week that claimed that the CIA (at director-level only) received info from GCHQ last summer on potential collusion, which was then passed on to a select group of congress people. Bizarrely, that article was written by the same author that erroneously published the article last October that claimed that the FBI had found no links between Trump-Russia and was not investigating as such, which was a complete and utter lie.

It wasn't just the one thing, but that was potentially another factor that swung the election in Trumpov's favor.

The CIA appears to have been on top of this, perhaps with the NSA. The FBI it seems, however, was completely asleep at the switch, to paraphrase the Guardian article this week.

That fits the pattern I saw with the FBI appearing to go after Clinton but seemingly having no immediate interest in Trumpov's far more corrupt past and present dealings. I said at the time I thought that was a grave mistake, one that would cost the Republic dearly, and I have seen no reason to back down from that conclusion.

For a candidate that filed multiple bankruptcies and being praised as a great businessman and for a candidate that American banks would not lend to but is a multi-billionaire it only seemed logical to give pause and wonder how he got so rich. Couple that with some of the questionable people that he surrounded himself with (2 since had to register as foreign agents) why was the FBI so incompetent that they were caught with their paints down. How does this country go about investigating the FBI for collusion and/or coverup? When are heads going to roll for this gross incompetence?

As I said in the OP to this thread, this has the potential to take down many in the FBI as well. I said at the time that Comey was a possible target too, but, as time goes on, I think Comey is doing his job the best he can.

I think the FBI NY Field Office, however, will probably be purged, with several arrests made.

The investigations into our IC and how it dropped the ball on this, particularly the FBI, will go on for years. While I support our IC, as I have made amply known here, there is no doubt a good overhaul is due. Plus, a solid counterintelligence sweep of all foreign - but particularly Russian and Chinese - moles is urgently needed.

I'm currently hearing a new theory on Page from a source I trust on this that, if true, completely changes our portrait of him.

The source is claiming that the FBI got to him as early as last summer, that it flipped him, and that he was then wired in all his meetings with the Kremlin - possibly even those alleged by the Steele Dossier.

This could explain his talky-talky, since he may have immunity now, but I still find his behavior incredibly bizarre.

Again, I'm not claiming this as fact. Just something a well-placed source is floating out this afternoon.

I'm not keen to NY Field Office but will look into it futher. Some of the things Comey did that were unprecedented around the same time these questions surrounding Trump camp should have been making it's rounds throughout the IC and what he did a week before the election was his last ditch effort to keep his job in the next Administration.

I think we have a long ways to go before this is all over. There is not much more surveillance information that is going to be brought before the IC and we have seen none of it. Let all of the information paint the whole picture. Having someone to testify would be great. That could be why they scoffed at Flynn's immunity request. I wish I knew what the IC knew but that would drastically reduce my life expectancy. I will continue to read all the "fake news" and the other fake news this thread brings.

I'm beginning to believe that you actually believe you have sources.

Of course our very own Derrida has to chirp in. The crow he will be eating shortly will be enough to choke on.

Anyhow, enough of nihilists for one day, there's so many scum this scandal is going to take down, you forget all the names involved. Ross will be another one to go down. He'll be lucky to escape prison too. Perhaps his money will save him though. We'll see.

I have a legitimate question for the board's nihilists:

If the Deep State/liberals/[insert whatever enemy you prefer to use as a scapegoat for your crappy politics] is behind all of this, and it's just a grand conspiracy to get rid of this great reformer we have in DC, why wouldn't they just assassinate him?

Would be a lot simpler and a lot more effective.

Hoping the Daves, Burgers, Trumpsballs of the world can give us their expertise to explain.

The faucet is leaking again:

Muh Deep State! Foreign even!

Also, I thought these were two interesting articles:

(I imagine they caught a few Trumpers in the act too.)

Bham was asking the other day why the FBI wouldn't have already arrested Page if he were doing something illegal years ago. I saw a panel with Phil Mudd and Steve Hall, actual experts, this week, and they addressed that very issue. They said this looks like a classic counterintelligence operation. See a target and let him take you places. See where he goes. If you let him go long enough, perhaps he gives you something even bigger.

The same happens with drug stings. Police don't always go after the street dealer immediately. Often, they let him take them places, places like where the big supplier resides and/or operates.

Trump kids have committed felonies and are on their way out of the WH, if not into a prison cell.

Nunes likely headed to prison.

Manafort's indictment may come as early as next week.

Rudy "October Surprise" Giuliani in deep, deep doo-doo.

Sessions won't make it out of this either, but not sure yet on whether or not he does time.

Enjoy your Saturday. We're one step closer to reclaiming America for Americans.

STFU..... you're like a loud mouthed naggin' old lady with Alzheimer's.... you say the same thing over and over and over as if you think it's the first time...

Just sharing with my fellow Americans what they deserve to know and will eventually know anyhow.

Your tone is very grumpy. You sound like a very grumpy cartoon animal.

They don't need to kill him because he can't do very much to them at this point and time. They gather everyone's dirty details and use them to get them to play ball. I think they stay out of the way on some items and interfere on others. If they called all the shots it would be obvious because as I've said before they don't have America's best interests at heart, only theirs.
