First paragraph. Are you trying to point out anything different on the Ukraine issue. It's very direct in relation to the R's stance and the D's stance on arming Ukraine. I also pointed out Trump's stance, he was more with the D's at first and I think opinion on Arming Ukraine has evolved for both parties. It's not like the D's are beating the drum not to arm Ukraine. Of course this is my opinion.Mick, I’ll be happy to trade compare administrative postions, actions, and inactions with you.
But my comment was more aimed at this notion that Trump had the party platform changed to go easy on the Russkies. The article I bumped debunked that (as was done at the time). Thoughts?

It's just the general reporting from Republicans that Trump wanted a softer stance.I want to know more about this platform change. What was it changed from and what to?

Did Trump change Russia platform language?
Actually it is inconsequential to the discussion but you seem hung up on it. Face it Arming Ukraine is not exactly the slap in the face to Russia that you let on.I don’t understand. What were the changes that you find so worrisome? From what text to what final text?
Does it mesh up with this reporting?
Byron York: What really happened with the GOP platform and Russia

Obviously you didn't read the link I posted.
Yeah, I’d say that was about the level of defense I expected.
Republicans say the platform was changed specifically the wording of their Ukraine stance. They are internal documents not for public consumption. If you don't believe them then there is no use in continuing. Trying to use this as a flaw in my stance that Trump is not that tough when it comes to Russia is weak at best. It’s not inconsequential when it’s used as a talking point to support some affinity for the Russians.
What was the platform on Russia before and what was it changed to? Then I have some comparisons I’d like to make to what you provide to me.
1. Siding with Putin over our intelligence communitiesLOL sorry I’m not going to jump in and defend the president at every slight.
Just noting your lazy argument. But I will play along.
What are the top 5 ways you believe Trump has put himself first (versus the country, of course)? I’m ready to be convinced!!
3. Versus actually not accepting the election results when she lost. MMkay1. Siding with Putin over our intelligence communities
2. Branding the media, an instrumental element of democracy, as the enemy of the people
3. Saying he would refuse to accept the election results if he lost
4. Trying to pressure to FED to lower interest rates
5. Refusing to condemn white supremacists because he knows they support him
I’m sure I’ll think of more.
My point was, we have words versus actual action. The Russia investigation is all based on Hillary and the Democrats not accepting the results of the election. But I guess that is okay because mah Trump.
