TrumPutinGate

After nearly two years of Mueller's investigating we know that:

1. The FBI was spying on the Trump campaign during the 2016 race.

2. Strzok, Page, and other unknown agents had an "insurance policy" that Trump would not get elected to office.

3. After winning the election, 100 days into Trump's presidency, McCabe, Rosenstein, and a group of FBI agents conspired to try to turn Trump's own cabinet against the President via invoking the 25th Amendment.

4. The deputy AG offered to wear a wire to tape the President without his prior consent or knowledge as part of the plan to remove Trump.

5. FISA warrant obtained using dossier as critical component (per McCabe testimony) but source of dossier and origins was withheld from FISA application.

AFAIK, IG Horowitz is still reviewing the FISA/Trump investigation. His prior report was about the HC email investigation. Will be interesting to see the results of his work.

I knew I had left something out.

There are so many pieces to this puzzle. :)

6. During the 25th Amendment coup, the FBI launched an investigation into Donald Trump for treason due to the firing of Comey.

5. Russian intelligence hacked into the DNC's computers.

6. Trump campaign staff told a foreigner the Russians were going to release damaging information on Clinton, weeks before it happened.

7. Top level Trump staff met with Russian agents in Trump Tower.

8. Trump publicly called for the Russians to break into Clinton's computers.

9. Trump said he "had nothing to do with Russia" even as he was negotiating a big business deal with Russia.

10. Yada yada yada.

None of which constitutes Trump colluding with Russia.

So when a foreign businessman does business in the US he’s dealing directly with the US government?

6. IIRC - Stone was informed by some lefty commentator?

7. Arranger of dossier met with same people directly before and after said meeting. There's no indication election cooperation was part of meeting.

8. No information from Clinton's computers was released.

9. was he still negotiating the deal at that time?

10. yada yada yada indeed.

Still no one (including person in #6) has been charged with collusion or conspiracy to collude or anything like it.

Subject of FISA warrant hasn't been charged with anything.

However we do know from testimony that source of dossier (oppo research) was known prior to pursuance of FISA warrant and was excluded from application. We also know from testimony that dossier was deemed critical to obtaining original FISA warrant. Seems our "democracy" loving fans in this thread would at least show some concern about these facts but for some reason they are deemed A-OK if it gets the target.

I presume Horowitz's internal investigation is ongoing (haven't heard otherwise). We should be all interested in the outcome; particularly given the hue and cry seen here over the last days to see every single detail of the investigation.

No indictments to date contain any charge of said conspiracy.

Reports he's wrapping up.

Clapper and recent former DOJ (I think) official under Obama writing in the NYTs about how there's likely not going to be any findings of such in the report (but - it will launch House investigations.)

The better answer is what is your basis for thinking it will make such a finding?

I don't know if he will or won't. I'd be surprised if there is a smoking gun. Rather, I think there will be pretty convincing circumstantial evidence of it, which his base will simply reject.

any evidence will be convincing to you - you've made that clear so spare us the lecture about rejecting findings.

Are they still trying to get Christopher Steele to testify in front of Congress? I heard he answered some written questions, but he refused to testify in person.
