I like pie, and his administration has met my positive expectations (see below):

- Following through on promises regarding border and immigration policy changes (big plus, in my book)

- Review of and action on waste and inefficiency in the Federal government

- Backing off foreign entanglements like perpetual funding of programs and conflicts of dubious benefit to the United States

While the three items above were needed, his administration also met my negative expectation of his going full "bull in china shop" and/or "throw crap at the wall and see if it sticks" mode instead of being thoughtful and precise with the policy revision roll-outs so that they are more likely to stick beyond his 4-year term. To me, he has always struck me as being all about his ego first, with making lasting, positive changes taking a distant second. The tendency to "win the battle, lose the war" may well grow tiresome in the next 3.75 years.

I have to be honest and say I don’t know.
I don’t pay nearly as much attention to all the political BS as I used to.
Me neither. The system has turned into a graft/patronage scheme run by the managerial class for the last 70 years. It was going to end at some point, either through a purposeful teardown or outright collapse. Conservative ideology has died and now the progressive ideology is on life support. Hopefully the future will be a less ideological system and more rational.

DC is the world’s largest crime family and all any of them care about is lining their pockets

When do we get the Luther brand of rational and reasonable aka agitating and trolling on the responses?
I was actually curious, but to be honest, the way I set up the poll and the responses it generated has done little to satisfy that curiosity.

A better question might have been........
Initially I thought trump's overall cumulative performance would rate a ______ (scale of 1 to 10) but I currently rate his performance a _________.

He's probably not going to be signing any stock market charts (like he did in the first term) anytime soon.

Which leads one to conclude that his answer made ZERO sense.
Something I wish the democrat party as a whole realized……Yes, Trump was a terrible candidate. And what does that say about the state of the democrat party when they nominate people so terrible that they have now lost to Trump 2 out of 3 times.
I want a strong and sane democrat party. But to get that, the Dems are going to have to take back their party from the crazy left. Both parties are currently run by the more extreme elements in their base. But the Republican “extreme” at least sounds closer to what most of America (especially the working class) wants. The Democrats will never be able to win nationally until they once again connect with that working class. But they can’t do that when the coastal elites and the looney protesters are calling the shots. I really would not like to be a Dem leader right now. The party cannot be salvaged without basically breaking it first.
Just an honest and objective summary of the way I see it.

seems to be a decent bell curve so far. Extreme, polarized ends (the right side being higher) with the meaty part of the curve being a mixed bag of trump results with some rational explanations.

Been a golden age for short sellers.

And any competent financial planner would tell you to never make investment decisions based on a two month sample size.
But actually yes, buying stock when the prices are down is sometimes a pathway to wealth later.
But you make your own decisions

In before all the MAGA nuts claim this is just due to orange man having to fix all of Biden's economic wrong-doing.

I would say Trump could eventually could cause a reset (it will eventually happen at some point eventually anyway), with that said... he's doing great. (nobody is going to really save this system)
🤷‍♂️

That’s the lefts move.
The right is waiting on him to stumble into a rebound so they can claim it was the plan all along.

Me….like most who play around with this nonsense…..I knew there was a dip coming. Always is when there’s a new president. So I was out in December. Now the truth is I had no idea this was coming so it’s Christmas Eve around here. I know that I’m making money on this rebound it’s just how much.
