I can separate out the Russia/obstruction issue from the economic issues that Trump can effectively boast about tonight.

IMO, he would be well advised to not utter a word about Russia or any investigation. Just stick to tax cuts, infrastructure, unemployment rates, consumer confidence. And go home.

Anything else dilutes his message.

If he spent the entire address saying 3 nice things about every democrat representative they would say it wasn’t enough nice things or the nice things weren’t nice enough.

I expect it to be a pretty decent run of the mill SOTU, the media to say he has made a presidential pivot, then an unhinged rant/tweet tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow, we'll talk about the mess you've left while camped out at the mailbox and how to go about cleaning it up. I'd suggest recycling and composting for a brighter future for our children.

I've wised up, I'm paying undocumented migrant workers to sit by the mailbox and wait for the border wall check now.

They keep telling me "No va a pasar tonto" but I have faith.
