TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

They're exercising oversight. Don't know how you can do that well without having a solid understanding of what it is you're overseeing.

How many Representatives in the House have worked in intelligence?

I'd rather have someone with sense looking at it with an outsiders view than someone who will just say "well that's how it works".

We have problems when the average citizen couldn't oversee our gov't. You pushing for a ruling class and a ruled class?

It's ironic that you guys are the ones who complain about how incompetent government is, but then want Betsy DeVos types to lead government agencies.

She's really destroyed public education over the past year hasn't she?

Speaking of public education, we keep complaining about our schools falling behind and kids not being served properly by the public schools. YET we keep putting career educators or administrators in charge, you don't get fresh ideas and perspectives from people who have ONLY known a failing system.

There are plenty of people out there with a background in education who are conservative. Trump won. I have no problem with him appointing the people of his choice...as long as they're qualified. Betsy DeVos, Ben Carson, some of the judges he's appointing, etc. are just terrible choices from an expertise perspective. He nominated at least one person as a district court judge who had never argued a motion of any type in court.

Yeah, I agree that some of his nominees are head scratchers but the hysteria over Devos has been unwarranted, what has she done to hurt education? What has Carson done?

Going back to Nunes, when did you first care about people with experience heading congressional committees? Was it when Ike Skelton and Carl Levin headed the armed services committees? Bernie Thompson chaired Homeland Security? When?

Frankly, I'm not familiar with those guys, but I'm sure both parties have appointed some stinkers.

Nunes has a trifecta of failings: he has no expertise, no desire to obtain it (he didn't even read the documents underlying his infamous memo), and he's a total Trump toady.

And you wonder why normal people despise your kind.

I'll take a rural dairy farmer all day over a ****ing POS lawyer.
Beat me to it once again. My mother was a business woman in a big dairy farming community. She would always say................ " you will find more $100 bills in the pockets of overalls in this town than you will in suit pockets." She was not impressed with fancy dressing lawyers in the least. She was with dairy farmers. They would pay their bills. Lawyers were not as consistent or prompt.

Former CIA Chief John Brennan Was Leading the Counter Intelligence Operation Against Trump (VIDEO)

Joe DiGenova: John Brennan Was Behind the Set Up n Trump - YouTube

Joe DiGenova: It was abundantly clear that there was no legitimate basis even for a counter intelligence investigation, let alone a criminal investigation. It is quite obvious that John Brennan was at the head of the group of people who were going to create a counter intelligence investigation against Trump by creating false information that was going to be fed through Carter Page and fed through George Papadopoulos so that it would be picked up, reported back to Washington and provide the basis for a counter, a fake, counter intelligence investigation and it was all Brennan’s doing. And that is why the Justice Department is viciously fighting, revealing everything they can about the source in London who everybody knows the identity of.

Laura Ingraham: Explain the source in London.

Joe DiGenova: The source in London was another person who was feeding false information to George Papadopoulos and others about collusion which did not exist.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

You guys kill me. This is not evidence that Mueller can't prove collusion. Trump was never going to be indicted for collusion for the simple fact that collusion is not a crime.

And speaking of collusion with Russia: the transcripts of the June 9, 2016 meeting at Trump Tower show that Donald Jr became quite agitated with Natalia Veselnitskaya when it became apparent she didn't have much dirt on HRC as she had led him to believe. (In my opinion, she is cute and the purpose of the meeting should have been to get her up to daddy's suite and make her feel more at home... but that's off topic.) The first statements given by Donald Jr were blatant lies... He was desperate for dirt on HRC and didn't care how he got it or who he got it from.

Remember the rumors that her and Ivanka rode on the elevator together? Threesome?
