Newly elected SK president Moon got the diplomatic relations ball rolling. A change from the hardline approach to a moderate one .

What's the point? SK should have lead when talking to NK. Glad they are taking it. The reason they can take the lead, of course, is they come from a position of strength knowing they have the U.S. as an ally. And they can play good cop if they want because we have no problem playing bad cop. It's an approach that seems to be working. Weird how strategy sometimes works.

I'm in no way making light of the four deaths. Just as with the four killed in Niger, it's tragic. There were obviously missteps along the way and things that could have been done differently in hindsight. There may have even been some degree of cover up after each of the two incidents.

I just always felt the far right was trying to use the tragedy to their political advantage and to further demonize Clinton. But like I said, I didn't follow the story very closely.

siap, but every shooting on US territory ever and democrats.

Wow.

FOIA lawsuits reveal that Comey, after he was fired...Comey/DOJ/FBI & Mueller 'coordinating' together to frame Comey's congressional testimony. This is an utterly flawed 'get Trump' investigation, I mean what a damn joke.

German lawyer Stephan Roh — a close associate to Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud, the man who allegedly told Papadopoulos that Russia had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton — wrote that Mueller’s team intercepted and interrogated him for “hours” last October in New York

According to Bertrand’s report, two other “obscure players” — Ivan Timofeev, a program director at a Kremlin-funded think tank and Ted Malloch, a British academic tied to Roger Stone — were also interviewed by Mueller’s team. Roh and Malloch, who wrote a similar book aiming to “debunk” the Russia investigation titled “The Plot to Destroy Trump: How the Deep State Fabricated the Russia Dossier to Subvert the President,” argue another conspiracy is at play — one involving “Western intelligence” planting figures like Papadopoulos to “trick” the Trump campaign into collusion.

Newly-revealed interviews show the stunningly comprehensive scope of Mueller's Russia probe

Wow = These docs show that fired Comey, had easy, friendly access to the FBI (his top-brass buddies) as he prepped and coordinated with Mueller (his pal) in his infamous anti-Trump testimony. This collusion led to Comey’s attacking President Trump and possibly misusing FBI records as part of a vendetta against the president.

Since Comey had been fired, he no longer had access to the FBI records that had been produced to the senate. It's hardly surprising that in order to provide factually accurate testimony about the records he may be asked about he would want to see those records. This is simply what you do to prep for testimony. Additionally, there was an ongoing investigation that had been transferred from Comey to Mueller. Seems to make sense to be on the same page with the guy now heading up the investigation as to what Comey could and could not reveal about it.

Seems a wee bit of a stretch to go from these facts to the conclusion that Mueller and Comey were concocting lies/obfuscations to tell the senate.

You aren't going to convince people that get their "news" off of Drudge Report that there is any merit to the Mueller investigation of Trump.

Do you even know what Drudge Report is? All they do is link news articles from tons of other sites. It's not like they are writing opinion pieces.

So factual evidence discovered from a FOIA lawsuit is somehow referenced Drudge propaganda?

So are transcripts in Judge Ellis's courtroom without basis or concern? Or Judge Sullivan's? Or Judge Friedrich's?

True, but they tend to at least keep quiet when you can provide them with a perfectly reasonable--and much more plausible--explanation.

What it looks like happened is that Judicial Watch paid a bunch of money to litigate a FOIA case and then got a bunch of meh emails and are now trying to spin them in order to say they got something good for their efforts.

Here's a summary of their "juicy" emails. A big fat nothing burger for any lawyer that reads them.

Quick question...Has anyone wondered why our government didn't go to Trump and let him know they thought the Russians were attempting to gain access to his campaign?
