TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

You are clueless on this and cannot simply read the damn article you linked. The prosecution STATED their suspicion based on Manafort’s past dealings. Using that basis they found the financial dealings. They have no indictments related to this suspicion. That’s a damn fact! You desperately want that suspicion to be true and have ZERO evidence stating it is!! Also a fact!!

I never said the charges was related to Trump or Russia but they had a right to investigate his business dealing with the Russians and that lead to the discovery of the financial crimes. Fact. He will not have the charges dropped because of his BS argument which is the same argument you are making now. Deal with it when they make a ruling on this.

You are waffling all over the damn place as usual. You dropped that article link on the basis of trying to show a current claim of Manafort being a back channel to the Russians for Trump. You were then called on that being false and are now just screeching and back tracking on your guessed at back channel implication. And you don’t know how Jackson will rule on the current charges any more than I do but still state “he will not have the charges dropped because of his BS argument” as fact!

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s interest in former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort stemmed in part from his suspected role as a “back channel” between the campaign and Russians intent on meddling in the election, a Justice Department lawyer told a judge.

You’re wrong! As usual!

You don't suspect that he could be the back channel between Trump and Russia. Remember the Trump Tower meeting? It happened. Sorry your argument will be ruled on by a Federal Judge. You will come up on the wrong side of your argument that they did not have a right to investigate him.

😂😂😂 keep the dream alive. This is one helluva long game if Mueller drops any indictment now related to Russia and Manafort. Lol.

We are too. Luckily yesterday a criminal referral was made to DOJ on Lynch about this topic!! Woohoo!!

I forgot you were the one prematurely celebrating that 11 members of the house wrote a request that they bring criminal charges because they felt Trump was treated unfairly. :cray:

Lol. Yeah that’s the reason. They even provided very specific foot notes and specific USC violations by the list of individuals who did the playground bullying. 😂😂😂

New York connection. You don't think that he knows the prosecutors after Cohen?

Oh, probably. I also thought Rosenstein told Trump he wasn't targeted by the Cohen investigation. That's also an investigation that's out of Mueller's hands, so such a connection seems pretty useless at the moment.

“The court’s order that Hannity’s name be disclosed in open court violated longstanding, judicially endorsed standards against identifying uncharged persons in legal proceedings attendant to criminal investigations... Under that kind of justice, courts protect uncharged people from being identified in public proceedings in connection with criminal investigations. The failure of the court and the government lawyers to enforce that standard just adds fuel to the fiery contention that, where President Trump is involved, investigations are driven by politics, not law enforcement.”—- Andrew McCarthy, Former US Chief Atty

I think most reasonable people find Trumps sabre rattling unnerving warmongering. Personally, I don't buy into it as a basis for impeachment though.

Obstruction has been in plain view since Trump fired Comey for "the Russia thing." Undeniable.

Emoluments clause violation is moving forward in court:

So, yeah, there is plenty of *evidence* that Trump should be impeached.

Comey is a liar and a criminal.

The executive branch serves at the pleasure of the President. Meaning he can fire any unelected official whenever he wants.

It is beginning to sink into the cloudy minds of the Left that the Muler investigation is going to end up being a dud.

But hey, they still still have Stormy Daniels for just a little while longer.

You ever get the feeling that the government is consuming itself? All this political posturing from officials on both sides who should be maintaining at least some semblance of impartiality is pretty nuts.

The Department of Justice has delivered to Congress copies of former FBI Director James Comey's memos documenting his interactions with President Donald Trump, a move intended to avert a legal standoff between House Republicans and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Wonder if they are interested in what Trump has to say about the meeeting?

EDIT: Capitol Hill has received redacted versions of former FBI Director James Comey's memos, after President Trump approved their transmission.

Kushner Cos. Subpoenaed for Information Related to Housing Filings - WSJ

The real-estate company run by the family of White House adviser Jared Kushner in mid-March received a federal grand-jury subpoena for information related to paperwork the company filed in New York City concerning its rent-regulated tenants

The subpoena, part of an investigation by prosecutors in the Brooklyn U.S. attorney’s office, came shortly after an Associated Press article about the company having filed documents that said it had zero rent-regulated tenants, when in fact it had hundreds, an omission that relieved them of certain rules governing developers.
