TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

The George W. Bush White House ‘Lost’ 22 Million Emails

Clinton’s email habits look positively transparent when compared with the subpoena-dodging, email-hiding, private-server-using George W. Bush administration. Between 2003 and 2009, the Bush White House “lost” 22 million emails. This correspondence included millions of emails written during the darkest period in America’s recent history, when the Bush administration was ginning up support for what turned out to be a disastrous war in Iraq with false claims that the country possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and, later, when it was firing U.S. attorneys for political reasons.

Lock him up. That's not the only way he betrayed his office.

Go ahead and work to recover them. If it’s blocked then go after the blockers. And I’ve never heard this before.

It was a big story but for some reason didn't receive the ongoing mass hysteria of the Clinton e-mail story. Go figure.

And it had the added bonus of leading us into an ill advised war.

I’m not refuting the story. I don’t remember hearing about it.

And I’ve always felt our invasion of Iraq was unjust. We should have just nuked Afghanistan in my opinion but I saw no valid reason to invade Iraq

I just always found the continued manufactured hysteria over the Clinton e-mail "scandal" juxtaposed over the complete ignoring of the bigger and more damaging Bush e-mail "scandal" to be very telling.

What better way could there possibly be to discourage Putin from meddling in our elections than to call and congratulate him on winning his own sham of an election? That's just great.

It's just Trump kissing the ring of his financial backers. He's a scumbag of epic proportions. Anyone who supports this behavior is a ****ing traitor.

An American president does not lead the Free World by congratulating dictators on winning sham elections. And by doing so with Vladimir Putin, President Trump insulted every Russian citizen who was denied the right to vote in a free and fair election. https://www.mccain.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?p=press-releases&id=61F7FD60-671F-4364-8297-1AB43F099405 …

I think he was wrong in calling Putin about this.

Did you see what else Trump said? He wants to meet with Putin soon to discuss arms control.

Ok, everyone sees the potential benefits of the broad concept of "arms control," but this shiz is getting real. As long as there is genuine doubt as to whether Trump is beholden to the Russians in some way, it is very difficult to trust whatever "deal" the two come up with.

Frankly, because he is really uninformed I wouldn't trust him to do that out of fear that he is incompetent to do so. But add on to that I think a legitimate worry that Trump is compromised, and I just don't want him to have that power.

There is no doubt that Trump is a double naught spy from Russia.
