Hicks acknowledges white lies, but won't talk White House in testimony - CNNPolitics

During closed-door testimony that stretched roughly nine hours Tuesday, White House communications director Hope Hicks was pressed about whether she had ever lied for President Donald Trump -- and acknowledged she has had to tell what amounted to white lies, according to a source with direct knowledge of her testimony.

If she admits to telling "white lies" to cover for Trump while at the same time refusing to answer many questions..........sounds like she is hiding his guilt.

Mueller knows what those lies are.

The admiral in charge of both the nation's top electronic spying agency and the Pentagon's cybersecurity operations would seem a logical point man for countering Russia's digital intrusions in U.S. election campaigns.
But National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command chief Adm. Michael Rogers told the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday there is only so much he can do. That is because, according to Rogers, President Trump has not ordered him to go after the Russian attacks at their origin.

Sen. Jack Reed of Rhode Island, the committee's ranking Democrat, asked Rogers, "Have you been directed to do so, given this strategic threat that faces the United States and the significant consequences you recognize already?"

"No, I have not," Rogers replied.

NSA Chief: U.S. Response 'Hasn't Changed The Calculus' Of Russian Interference : The Two-Way : NPR

Ooopps! You forgot to add this part...

"Nobody is denying him the authority," White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said when asked about Rogers' testimony. "We're going to continue looking at different ways to combat [Russian meddling], and I would imagine that that will be certainly a big part of it, but I can't speak to anything further on it right now."

Even if he were granted authority to act, Rogers questioned during the Senate hearing whether his agencies' capabilities would be the best or only response to those attacks.

"Be mindful of falling in the trap that just because someone comes at us in cyber that we have to default to immediately going back and doing the exact same thing," he warned. "I've always believed we need to step back and think a little bit more broadly about it and just don't default — it's because of that, you know, that I have not done that to date."

"I think, in fairness, you can't say nothing's been done," he said. "But the point would be, it hasn't been enough."

So you are saying "no collusion" and "but Hillary". Do you care to post the Daily Caller or National review link to back it up? Vindicated if you do.

I'm saying your Russian collusion narrative is a joke, if you compare against the Russian dossier collusion narrative.

I think it's pretty evident, you might be the poorest sport on VN when your narrative gets questioned or further weakened. Lol, later Mick!

You have yet to weaken my position or advance yours. Your posts read like they came from Breitbart.

There wont be a showdown. I think the Donald knows he made a mistake by bringing in his family. Kushner shouldn't be there period.

In honesty Trump probably couldn't get anyone better. Nobody is going to want to jump on the ship that is taking on water.

Lol, ok whatever you wanna believe budro.
Allow me to prove my point young man...

In reference to Breitbart, don't think I've EVER posted an article from there. I was actually referencing an article written in The Hill, from Johnathon Turley who holds the Shapiro Chair for Public Interest Law at The George Washington University Law School where he teaches torts, criminal procedure, and constitutional law. Also, his blog was ranked as the top law professor blog and legal theory blog by the American Bar Association Journal's survey of the top 100 blogs.

Sorry your 'random' libtard attack is further weakened ONCE again :dance2:

"...Rob Goldstone’s emails afterward: On June 14, 2016 — five days after the meeting — Rob Goldstone emailed his boss Emin Agalarov and fellow meeting attendee Ike Kaveladze a CNN story in which the DNC went public to claim that they’d been hacked by Russians. Goldstone wrote that the story was “eerily weird” given what they’d just discussed at the Trump Tower meeting. (This full email also hasn’t yet been released.)"

Trump Russia news: Mueller investigation focused on Trump Tower meeting - Vox

what the eff does that have to do with what I posted? got nothing to do with Fusion meeting with the Russians.

The Trump admin stated (READ: LIED) that the topic of discussion was Russian adoptions. In reality, the POST MEETING email from one of the participants illustrated they obviously discussed something related to Russians hacking the DNC. The premise that the meeting was a "20 minute nothing" is bogus. Mueller will likely untangle this.

is much more likely it was tied to the TWO meetings with Fusion GPS than a quickee in the tower.

Frankly, I'm kind of surprised they didn't say he was 200% complete. These clowns are so biased they make Rachel Maddow blush.

"Very Conservative" - LOL
