TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

I just answered that according to an article from the NYT on Don Jrs . testimony . He said ( supposedly ) he requested the meeting . Now again I’ll be happy to look at any evidence showing that “ TRUMP “ requested the meeting and or Russian help at that meeting . Its had to feel trapped when giving you facts and requesting more facts from you so I can see them . 🤷‍♂️
No, you didn't. I want you to answer the question honestly according to your beliefs: Did the Trump campaign seek election interference from Russia during the Trump Tower meeting? Yes or no.

Oh you are asking for my opinion now and not just facts ? Why didn’t you just say so playa ? IMO Don jr set up a meeting to try and get info on Hillary Clinton to use against her .

What about George Papadopoulos ? He already knew the Russians had the stolen emails before the TT meeting. Are you just going to give Trump, Manafort, Jr., and Kushner plausible deniability that they didn't know what the meeting was about? Hillary's fitness and adoptions was a cover story.

What did the Mueller report say about the TT meeting ? All of that has been heavily investigated . Am I supposed to think Mueller didn’t do his job now ?

Most of it's redacted. If you take everything you know and conclude the Campaign didn't seek help from Russia, you're Onemesseduplilreb.

One minute it’s impossible for Russia do anything and the next blaming Russia for everything is a coping mechanism.

I didn’t think the TT meeting was redacted, I’ll have to go back and look . It’s been a while since I looked at it .

I pretty sure that all 17 or so intelligence agency's concluded that Russia was not trying to "help" Trump as much as trying to disrupt and cause distrust. All you jumping up and down screaming Russia, Russia, Russia are giving them exactly what they were trying to achieve. Why is that so hard for some to understand this?

Let just see how "honest" you are. Is the Trump tower meeting evidence Trump sought election interference from Russia or are we about to start adopting Russian children?

Look at a couple of other things. Somebody on VN was commenting just a couple of days ago that an article headline really had nothing to do with the topic inside. Bait and switch is a well used tactic by marketeers and other snake oil types. Sometimes meetings are like a box of chocolates ....

On the other perspective, whether it was honest research on the opposition or digging through dirty laundry presented by a foreign government; how is that different from the roots of Operation Crossfire Hurricane? Some of you guys really have a problem understanding what the pot calling the kettle black means. You do remember that the British clown who dug up stuff on Trump got it from "the Russians" don't you???

I’ve waited all day for someone to call you a conspirator, it’s interesting nobody has commented on this at all .

To me the most profound part was

At what point is collusion between intel, political actors, and the media illegal. The integrity of the election system is under assault.

Except I think it's a far broader than just the election system under attack. Apparently we learned nothing from Watergate since it combined all those elements. The same goes for our intelligence defectors who give state secrets to the media who print them often to the benefit or detriment of specific politicians. Then there's the Steele excrement. And then all the DC strap and jockstrap hangers who divulge sensitive material to the press so they can be "important". Like exactly how many people can listen in on one phone call or how much stuff can a congressional staffer leak before we get to the point that presidents work in complete vacuums. Abuse freedoms and you eventually lose them ... out of necessity. Leakers need to be identified and prosecuted ... persecuted would be better. Whistleblowers should be identified so that we understand their relationship and validity to and of their information ... protect them if the relationship is valid ... toast them if they have no legitimate right to or understanding of the information.

Putin will not be able to be President of Russia come 2024, so he is transferring power to the Prime Ministership, a position he is likely to move to once his term is up. The government under him is resigning to clear the path for that to occur.

Not sure this guy is as beneficent as others appear to think he might be.

Who in the hell has said Putin is beneficent ? Lol

Full on dictatorship now, eh? What does he want that he didn't have already?

Having taken Russian history there seems to be one constant: every new development leads to a lot of dead Russians.

It's been a dictatorship for over a decade.

He's just doing what he did 10-12 years ago, transferring power to the PM office then he'll step into that job for a term then take back over the presidency again.

I remember being critical of Putin in one of Ras or Pacer’s apologia threads regarding all the good things he was doing for the people of Crimea. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that Putin’s KGB days were not influencing his decision making as President/PM.

Once a communist, always a communist.
