I love to watch people trot out Sen. Byrd's past in hopes of painting him as some sort of KKK kingpin. It's fun watching people twist themselves in knots after learning about the 50 years of dedication he put into being a champion of Civil Rights.

I asked a real and very relavent question , you and I both know why you didn’t answer it , you ignored it and instead tried to point out Byrd’s great humanitarian deeds after he denounced his membership into the Kkk . You can try to rewrite history all you want by cherry picking this or that but it won’t change the fact that the demacratic party was in no way the party of , by or for the oppressed minority . Your party were the oppressors . That by the way was the topic we were on before you started putting Byrd on a pedestal .
