Of course I understand how the system works. One candidate will win and the others will lose. You can vote for the candidate you wish to win, against the one you wish to lose, for a third party as a statement vote, or not vote at all.

The dems. have a message, but evidently they need to summarize it in a 3 word childlike chant ("Build that wall" or "lock her up") or an idiotic 4 letter acronym (MAGA) in order for some to process it as a message.

It's not like I'm going to say anything or provide any information in this forum that will outweigh years of right wing propaganda and brainwashing. I can tell by each individual's posts how thoroughly you have been brainwashed. Many of you are so deeply brainwashed and indoctrinated it would take months of deprogramming in full isolation.
