Ok, it's time for the GOP and Trump to make good on their promise to repeal AND REPLACE Obamacare. They promised it would cut costs of insurance and costs of care.

Predictions?

I predict they will repeal the individual mandate. But they'll keep most, if not all, mandated coverages. Some minor tinkering with Medicaid. Won't lay a glove on Medicare.

The replacement will be some kind of across-state lines selling, and maybe allow a super slimmed down policy for disasters, without all of the mandated coverages. Super cheap but for 99 percent of buyers offering effectively no coverage at all.

Stocks of health insurers will go higher, and Trump will take credit, but within a year or two it will become clear to the voters that it's a pig in a poke, because the problem will once again clearly become that we have less people paying in via insurance, and more people using services via those of us who do.

Premiums for us, and for employers, will explode by 2019.

LG is petrified that his psychiatrist won't be subsidized under the new healthcare..

I actually want to thank LG for reminding me... I just reached out to Tom Price congressional office and ordered a flag to be flown above the capital on 1-20. Can't wait to get that (-:

Sweet, I like Price and despite LGs doom and gloom predictions I think we're going to be a lot better off after this abomination is repealed.

LG, how do you fix this fundamental problem? You've put you fingers on it... how do you fix a Ponzi/Pyramid scheme like this?

The costs will fall on those who have insurance, as always. We will pay more for less and the biggest difference will be that big health insurance companies and pharmaceuticals will be more profitable.

The epipen story will be repeated over and over.

this is what is so funny about LG. somehow he's missed the fact that premiums have been going up and up thanks to muslimcare. yet somehow he's going to say that premiums will now go up under trump.

it's obvious how delusioned LG is. so if the GOP keep muslimcare, then are you saying the premiums will go down?

In other words, nothing will change.

Premiums will continue on out of control and less people will have insurance. It will make the problem worse. Your bigoted hatred of Obama is comical.

Newsflash for you LG. These people are not paying their deductibles now but are using MORE services because they have insurance. Want to take a guess who's paying for it?

Premiums have been going up for 30 years. The changes needed to get things under control go a lot further than Obamacare and our nation is not willing to do what needs to be done. We will continue to have a system where billions of dollars are siphoned off by health insurance and pharmaceutical companies for treatments and drugs that add nothing to a person's quality of life. We pay more for less than any 1st world country in the world. Obama was trying to take the first steps necessary, just as Clinton tried to do in the 90's, to address the issue. There are obviously to many rich and powerful lobbyist to see any real change. The public being ignorant doesn't help.

ah yes a-hole. you have to assume i'm a bigot. talking about being an A-hole. quite classless that you would add that. typical marxist playbook.

I think your asinine use of the term muslimcare paints the bigoted bulls eye directly on your fore head.
