Good for him, except why is AG ramping up the WoD? He actually has direct control over that outcome. I'll believe it when I see it.

Yeah, hard to believe a narcissistic, pathological liar. If he calls off his drug dog Sessions then I'll believe it.

If Trump legalizes marijuana, 2020 will be a landslide victory.

I was going to post something similar. Wasn't thinking landslide but definite plus to their tally.

Whoever legalizes, de-criminalizes, ect marijuana will garner a lot of votes I think. Heck even just saying you would strongly consider it, put a commission in place, or push for some reduction of penalty. Put it in the same category as alcohol.

I'd push this if I were a campaign strategist and had a candidate that could believably campaign for it.

Pro Tip: There are more drugs than marijuana.

if he is smart he starts "working" on it into his third year, but never gets it quiet done, and just needs some more time to get it passed. Legalizing now wouldn't help him THAT much in 2 years, but at least pretending to work on it would help him in 2 years.

Just the thought is enough to give me the munchies. I hope it happens.

Can you imagine the amount of clemency that would need to be contemplated?

Trump isn't doing d**k, he'll talk about it but too much of his base has grown up hearing about the horrors of the devils' lettuce. The R congress and the Keebler Elf report to the bible thumpers.

The way I would see it written is if you have already been charged with a MJ crime you still face the charges. but no new ones. wouldn't drop from records either.

just like you can't be punished for past actions under a new law.

providing clemency would open huge floodgates of problems. imo. that way you can also sell it to the "thumpers"
