We'd probably have to let some ride on top of the buses to make it look like we don't condone the practice - that they were just desperately fleeing to a place of safety. Can you imagine the uproar from an isolated socialist Canada faced with the problem we are facing?

Exactly. Canada is the most fortunate contry on earth in regards to placement. That helps them out tremendously.

The GOP absolutely blundered in two ways when running McCain (with the Palin sinker) and particularly Romney. They picked two unelectable candidates and they didn't run on an anti illegal immigration platform. The illegal alien issue coupled with anything near electable is a winner.

Take a page from the cartels. We'll tunnel underneath the border and Canada will be stuck with them. Maybe put up signs, "This way to free healthcare."

While we're at it, can we deport some of these celebrities from Canada, like Jim Carrey and Justin Bieber? I'm okay with letting Ryan Reynolds stay because he's hilarious in the Deadpool movies, but we should ship some of the more outspoken and/or annoying ones back.

Carrey and Reynolds are US citizens and Beiber has an O-1 visa which is for the privileged. None of them are going anywhere unless they want to.

I figured they had become citizens, the legal way which is how it should be done instead of trying to sneak into the country, but they were born in Canada. I was making a funny.

Next time I'll try to remember the blue font so you can recognize humor. It must be hard for you.

Citizenship? I’m alright with granting work visas or just allowing people to enter regardless. But citizenship should still be a long term process.

He is a populist (you can be a liberal populist, see Bernie Sanders). He is working the other end of the extreme Trump worked in 2016 - he's garnered a huge following because he's marketed himself as capable of standing up to Trump.
