Trump & Child Separation

$116,000,000,000 PER YEAR, (NET) EFFECTIVE COST TO US TAXPAYERS.

man...that's like a 1/3 of a Billion bucks per day...f'me runnin' !!

Trump ain't gonna relieve pressure on Congress to fix it, they're using children and this family separation matter as a political pawn...don't fall for that crap to allow Congress to take no action, nor accept no responsibility. They can easily pass a stand-alone loophole bill today.

But they can't send the kid to federal lockup and they are sending all illegals they catch to lockup.

What were they doing before zero tolerance and using separation as a deterrent?

Edit: And the child has been abused and neglected by their parents by the time they get to the border.

Yeah, just like my pioneer ancestors did to their kids.

Yeah, just like my pioneer ancestors did to their kids.

I guess they were letting some go with a court date. Now they aren't.

If you want to look at the migration west of the pioneers with todays standards then yeah. But these people are not pioneers.

Really? The Southern Poverty Law Center? The same organization that just had to fork over millions of dollars and apologize to Maajid Nawaz for characterizing him as an anti-Muslim extremist?

Edit: Fall guy beat me to it.

So if its fake and the SPLC has defamed FAIR, they're free to sue for defamation. My guess is they don't want to sue because they know what would come out in discovery.

To be clear, you felt the loss coming so you just went full on with the race card.

It's understandable, they haven't told you guys to pull a different card yet.

Honestly, I don't even know what you two were bickering over. I just saw a dumb fish and through I'd toss out some bait.

Watching you get twisted over my hyperbole dripping comment is about how I expected this would play out. You're pretty predictable.

Muh semantics!

Like the pioneers, they are making a sacrifice and taking a calculated risk to better their lives and their future. We are people of privilege and to you that looks like negligence, but that's probably because you have never seen their level of desperation. Humble yourself, bro. You pass judgement on those less fortunate with no empathy.

Democratic Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham: "I will reject both pieces of legislation, including the Ryan compromise bill" because it doesn't do enough to address the immigration crisis

Why do democrats want to keep kids from their parents, Nazis

As I'm driving, I'm hearing on the radio that Trump says he's going to sign some kind of an order to preempt the situation, to be followed theoretically by legislation. But, Trump says he is going to take steps to prevent the separation of the families, now.

I do not understand this. Trump said over and over again over the last couple of days that there's nothing he can do that it's all up to Congress. I read here repeatedly that this is the law and there is nothing Trump could do. That this was not his fault and that there was nothing he could do.

Now he's doing something?

So they're not coming to make a better life? Why are they coming then?

You are trying to make this about something that is not in question.......the issue is what to do wit the kids that come across with their parents that are caught breaking our laws......your "pass judgement", "no empathy" is the item that makes me chuckle.......these kids and their parents for that matter, are well taken care of while they are processed for being in our country illegally.......you are falling for the media crap and moving the goal posts to legitimize it.......
