The whole thing was absolutely disgusting. Cheatle is absolutely hiding something, and made zero attempt to answer any questions. It was horrendous.

I cannot believe Cheatle still has a job. Gross incompetence, and at no point in today's hearing did she attempt to put the peace of mind of the country first. Let conspiracies rage, they're probably right at this point. Goodness gracious.

I suspect in a situation like this that a person has certain abilities as the head of the SS. She will lose these abilities if she resigns. It's a totally different situation for a head of a department to address congress vs. a private citizen. I suspect that she is scared (you have to pay your own legal fees for example).

Entirely depends. I agree though you don’t just clean house without evaluating who is in place. If the higher ups can’t answer questions any better than Cheato did they need to go as well. The American people and both political parties need to have some level of confidence in the secret service. Hard to do that when you still can’t get answers to basic questions right now.

A good portion of the upper part of the federal government needs to go, you don't have a country you have Banana Republic. If this was like we f'd up and we're incompetent that is one thing... Russia Gate, Lawfare, etc are mistakes or incompetence. That's the reason I don't vote, nobody is going to fire 1000s if not 10000s of people, and mass prosecute. This county is toast.
