I don’t care if today’s stealth fighters with state of the art armaments can knock out a F15 like a Zero on a Brewster Buffalo. The F15 is an awesome warbird that can enter and exit the operational theatre at Mach 2 and deliver 30k+ pounds of varying ordinance on targets with devastating effect. Fly high!

XL isn't nor was it a production aircraft. The Current Version of the F-15 is nearly everything needed to dominate except stealth. It's also my favorite aircraft of the times. Same as the 51 and 47 in WWII.

Edit: That answer isn't fair. Without going to far into it. My job lends itself to knowing about past, current and future aircraft particularly in the military arena. That's all I can tell you.
