True Freshmen

90% of freshman don't contribute much.

They are an investment bound to the dying breed of old-school recruitment. They cost millions of dollars, but produce little.

The new model: Bring in experienced, older and proven veteran players. Do it on the cheap. Star ratings mean basically nothing.

Build your team from nothing overnight.

No actual "coaching" needed.

Think about it... who was tougher/stronger/smarter... 18 year old you or 22 year old you?

SEE: Indiana.

With all the portal noise, what true freshman has a chance to really contribute in the two deep?
Faizon, Joel Wyatt, Luka wolf the tight end, Blair and Osenda at OT. All the backup db spots can likely be overtaken by a freshmen. Farooq, Walton, Poteet, Merritt and a nickel back. And some freshmen on the d line can break into the rotation
