If the VOLS can hold Troy to under 30, it should be a total blowout. Agree or disagree?

It should be a W. It really doesn't matter how much or what the statistics are. There are no moral victories; no moral defeats either!

We need to win three of these last four so we can go to a bowl. These boys need the extra practice.

An imaginary bowl schedule has us playing either Va. Tech or Pitt.

I would prefer to play Pitt. Sal Sunseri's son is the starting q.b. at Pitt. Interesting to see how he will call the defensive plays against his own son....

Didn't you hear!? Some other poster said if we beat Troy then that means we can beat ANYONE outside of the SEC!! Not the sharpest tool in the shed now is he?

Did Troy's QB make the cut for the Davey O'Brian award? I just saw they played 2 QB's and was wondering which one was garnering the attention

this game will be closer than most expect, IMO.
with our weak defense, i expect a shoot out tll the 4th qrt.
then the BIG ORANGE should wear them out runnig the ball.

The Va Tech QB would give us fits of rage. Sunseri's QB son is ok. Would be interesting to see his reaction to his son getting blasted by AJ

Keep in mind that Troy gave MSU Dawgs all they wanted for 4 full quarters and MSU kicked our tail like every other ranked opponent has in the last 3 years.

MSU took them very lightly. They played zone most of the game and gave up a ton of yardage on underneath routes. The Troy run defense actually looks pretty good, but they are ranked 100th in pass efficiency defense. Tyler will shred them

Last I saw, Troy had the 19th ranked passing attack ... Not good for our secondary. I suggest the fans brace themselves for Akron 2.0

They can definitely spread people out and get lots of yards. I noticed they bog down some in the red zone. How is their running game?

I agree. They should have beaten Miss St and their D played better than ours. I know you cant compare game to game but this wont be a pushover with our D. Bray, the receivers and run game should have a field day but our D may get burned early and often. Could be worse if they have a letdown from not only last week but our last 4 games against tough opponents. Who knows where their heads will be.

I would love to see the team come out fired up and play lights out and blow Troy out of the water like we are "supposed" to do. I do fear for this game for some reason though. I think the fact that the team with 0 for October again is weighting on their minds along with all the coaching stuff. Hopefully they can come into the game with a clear head and play well.

I don't care who we play or where we play them, I just want all WINS the rest of this season and in the bowl game.

We've dumbed down our 3-4 D as much as we can and it's now time for our players to man up, learn it and go out and play their assignments and play like Tennessee Vols should always play.

VFL...GBO!!!

Very nice.

This scenerio would also result in Dools getting a contract extension wouldnt it?

If Hambone was still running things, I'd say that's a definite yes. However, I feel that it'll be too little too late now.
