Based on what happened with Akron, does anyone view this Troy game being similar? I see visions of slot receivers tearing us up the seams and we don't dominate but do what we have to do to put them away. I think about the only way we get upset is if offense really screws up.

This could actually be a 60 to 48 game. Tn will win but unless our defense press covers they will score in bunches

Agree, Troy will move the ball, but our offense will really have to screw up ... Troy's D will be outmatched ... hopefully we get some picks and come up with some stops

I don't know about 50, but they will put up points. Seems like they had over 500 yards against M State. Worries me that turnovers could make a big difference in this game. If they're in it late, we'll screw it up...

Troys defense is worse than ours. (If possible). If we have to punt it will be a disappointment. At least in first half

The remaining schedule sets up nicely for us in terms of win-win situations.

We win out - awesome. Dooley probably still gets shown the door.

We drop 1 or more, yeah we lose, but Dooley's fate is sealed and we can move on.

If you are a gambler and want a sure bet, I would take Troy at 20.5 points. Also, I would suggest taking New Mexico St. at 23.5 against Auburn. I doubt either team can cover the spread. It's a sad day up on the hill these days.

Troy has a QB that can also run as well as pass. As to their defense I think it is much worse than ours with exception of MSU they have given up a ton of yards and points to very bad teams. I would mind if we played a lot of dime packages to get more speed on defense. Three or four bigs up front one strong MLB and six DBs our LB seem to get hung up in the middle and not get to the edges in time.

I would go out to say we average over 45 points a game the last4 games. Wew are playing. A lot worse defenses and or offense has scored on everyone

I could see it being a close high scoring game. And honestly, I wouldn't be completely shocked if we lost to Troy. I've just lost all faith in Dooley.

Troy is better than Akron. After the losing streak, will our players play good or slack up is the biggest question in my mind as to how this game goes. If they take Troy for granted or don't get up because it's not an SEC team then we could lose this one. Additionally, we need some turnovers from the defense because Troy will move the ball.

I wouldn't worry about this one folks. Cupcake and his cupcake QB have had this game circled on the schedule since Fall Camp. This is where Cupcake shines!

Troy is better than the UK team that beat us last year. We all know how that worked out. Hopefully the team doesn't roll over this year.

if we lose to troy, dooley wont make it out of neyland stadium without being fired. If it is close, we will lose, its just our track record at the moment, i really have a weary feeling about this game. Our defense is so bad that troy will score, our offense needs to maximize every possesion.
