Trouble With The Boosters?

Will you still look at him with adoring eyes when he is proven wrong this year?

Just wondering.

We will still know he would have put up the money to back his opinions. Not all would actually follow through...

You expect me to take a "message board" bet with everyone that disagrees with me? Get a grip dude, its all talk.

HATVOL had a few choice words for me a few months ago because I disagreed with his position. I know you adore him, but he is nothing more than a VN guru....and that is as far as it goes.

Is this post written as a ghost for Hyams? He has yet to "let loose" of FPF's ass. If Hyams is so UT, when is he going to get off of the negativity? One solution--BOYCOTT the "Animal"!

Tennessee has the same chance of going 4-8 that they did of winning another SEC title under Fulmer. None.

Given that LK's HC record is 5-15, I'd say using the word "none" is a little over the top.

That's because you have yet to be remotely objective in your analysis or opinion. It has really undermined your footing around here.

We'll see come next season who was correct, and who was, well, totally clueless and ignored all the facts.

In your opinion, how many yrs do we give him to drive us into the ground?

Coaches typically get 4 years. We'll know on the recruiting front within 2 to 3 years.

Your presumptive "driving into the ground language" is annoying, to say the least.

infamous 5-15 poster.

Yea. Usually you do want to look at the record of a HC before you hire him. But because we hired LK, mentioning the 5-15 is taboo. LK is the exception to this rule.......I just didn't know that before I spoke about it.

different leagues to compare. There is an argument to be made for both successful NFL coaches and bad ones turning to the college ranks.

No one minds the 5-15 argument unless you bring it up 500+ times and its your only excuse.

No one minds bringing up the fact that he was the "youngest HC in NFL history", until you (of course) mention his record.

I agree with you to the extent that LK should have never been hired in the NFL. He wasn't even Al's first choice. But he did meet the "puppet" criteria, hence he got the job.
