Trouble Brewing?

There is no problem. 18-22 year old kids are recruited to play ball noT mature as a person. Granted, thats what Dooley wants and I agree- a mature well mannered studious kid who can play football. The intent is there on Dooleys end, but asking an 18-22 year old to mature is like staring at a bottle of wine in hopes that it gets better. Only age and time will mature it. Then you have TO,a great nfl reciever who has never matured so take it with a grain of salt.

No your not classless,, You just have less class than your teamates that ARE speaking with the media. You play foootball for UT..act like it.

Have you ever talked to the media?

I have talked to the print media several times and what you tell them is not always what they print

Maybe he is spending his free time or media time with Worley catching passes? I really don't care if he talks or not, just go out there and do his job.

What could Darick Rogers possibly have to say right now? He's got to be going nuts running routes into double coverage without a QB that can get him the ball.

He's pissed and smart enough not to open his mouth and take the chance of getting in trouble. Shows he is maturing..

I would tell them to strap on a helmet, put on a uniform, and get out there if they think its so damn easy

no, not Rogers, the fact that some have nothing better to do than stir up ish like this. I suspect the football staff will handle any problems they may encounter. That DR hasn't spoken to media doesn't affect my life...does it affect yours? No, didn't think so. This is a 20 year old kid. They're all different and most are pretty immature, especially those that have been mollycoddled. Give the guy a break...geeez.

The media in Knoxville seems to suck. Da'rick is probably not too happy with how things have been going lately and doesn't want to discuss it publicly. I have no problem with it at all. Hopefully Worley can toss him some catchable balls this week and get him back in the game.

Fixed that.

I like how the one doofus says he's classless by refusing to speak to the media.

If I was a player, I would only rarely speak to the media. They're out to get a story, so they're going to blow any little mistake you make speaking out of proportion. The team doesn't need any distractions, so why risk it, especially with the morons here in Knoxville.

Class? Seriously?

The questions are going to be:

Are you frustrated?
Is it hard right now?
Where does the team go from here?
How's Worley doing?

The answers are: yes, yes, take it one
day at a time and he's coming along fine and is ready to compete.

See . . . I just saved you, DaRick and some hack reporter a lot of time.

I think it's better that he kept his frustrations and disappointments inside the team instead of feeding some media frenzy wanting a new story. Obviously Matt couldn't get him the ball and it frustrated him. No need to divide the team by putting it out so the Knoxville media will have something to print.

Could he be a TO? Possibly.

Does this prove it? No way.
