Is it just me or doesn't it appear that whichever phase of the offense Trooper is invovled with they excel?Last year, running backs, over all had an awesome year, receivers struggled. This year the running backs are struggling since Trooper has taken over the wide receivers whereby now they excel.

I think the running back struggles can be tied to the play of the offensive line and youth more than the coaching change.

Yeah, if you look at how the RBs played in 2003 versus 2004, there is a world of difference. Cedric Houston and Gerald Riggs really played to their potential that year. The running backs were OK last year, but they could have been great with a better O-line. This year, I don't think it's really going to matter how good the RBs are. They tend to break 2 tackles in the backfield, but still barely get to the line of scrimmage. No one can succeed with blocking as bad as it is.

Yeah, It might go so far as to make you think........who is the O-line coach and what is his explanation for this performance? But then if ya went that route you'd be labled a nega vol and...who gives a flyin **** no one here likes me anyway, lol.

I'd say Trooper walked into a pretty good situation with the WR's this year. I don't think their was any chance these guys were going to play as bad as they did last year.

Good call Freak. Im not giving Trooper less credit by anymeans but the WR's wanted "it" this year. "It" cant be coached.

I am going to hate the day we loose him. He is a great up and coming coach that has a bright future.

Ever think he might end up being our Off Cord one day. Cut wont be here forever.

Trooper would never be our offensive coordinator. No offense to him personally but he has no experience calling plays or running an offense.

I don't mean to sound down on Trooper. I think he has done a fine job.

We need to clone TT and let him coach receivers, RB's DL, OL, tight ends, kickers ,secondary, linebackers, the guy who carries coach Fulmers headset cord as well as singint the National anthem!
