i'm not going to call you a traitor, and respect your opinion but your dead wrong, if you remember his last season as a head coach he went 4-7, worse record then us this year, what makes you think he can coach better than Phil. Phillip Fulmer is still the winningest active coach with experience over 10 years. He will not, and should not be fired unless this continues for more than 1 season.

Did you see what he had to work with? Most of the 'good' talent graduated. And the state of Mississippi is not known as a recruiting powerhouse. Plus with LSU, Texas, Arkansas, Auburn, UT and Bama around them the appeal of attending Ole Miss vesus another school is a little low.

Cut was OC for how many years? Was it 6? How many SEC title games? How many national title games? How many Heisman runners-up? How many NFL players from his ranks? So on and so forth......

I agree, you guys think that may be what they're setting up for the future? I know CPF is in good health(just look at him)but if he resigns in the coming years and Cut is still around this may be what they're setting up

Could PHIL be the one wanting that bigger job say in the NFL? Does he personally think he plateaued here in college and is looking at greener pastures in the pros?

Cut isnt in good health and i am worried about him staying healthy for the next few seasons here, bad move it would be getting rid of a legendary coach, for a unproved OC that has health problems and was fired from his last head coaching job.

Its not fair to say Cut isn't in good health. He had heart bypass surgery. He had no heart damage. HUGE difference. :banghead:
