Trooper Taylor says letters from UT fans...

Well, he just beat us.

Astounding logic.

Trooper took the field himself and beat the crap out of us. Trooper called all the plays that won the game. At the position Trooper coaches, 2 receptions for 28 yards and a TD were the best stats of the group and indicate that the game was won or lost on that element alone. Trooper did beat us, you're right.

How many plays did he call?

How many passes did he complete?

How many tackles did he break?

Get a clue.

He coached on a team that beat us, which perfectly answers the question that your conjoined twin asked. (Lofton4Three - "What has teams he coached on won?")

So you get a clue.

Let me guess... The reason "he won" the game was the timely Chest Bumps?

Or you could just review your pronouns, because I specifically remember you chose "he" as opposed to "they."

I'm sure his resume will proudly put that "he" singlehandedly beat a team that is going to be finishing 6-6.

Keep in mind that this lack of talent that we have at our disposal is partly because of his own doing.

But you're right, he has some big wins under his belt.

Once again, I can't believe how anyone could have possibly wanted this guy to stay at the university.

If you look at the question and my response, it is easy to understand what I was saying.

Q: What has teams he coached on won?

A: He beat us.

What is so hard to comprehend?

The fact you guys can't see that you'd be anti-Trooper if he were here coaching this group of sorry receivers in place of Frank Wilson.

Apparently it's hard for you to comprehend if one of his biggest wins as a coach is against this Tennessee team... Then he's even more pathetic than what I give him credit for.

Pure conjecture. You're lashing out at the wrong extreme.

If you seriously can't see the difference in our receivers, the quarterback position, the offensive line, and the precise scheme in which David Cutcliffe employed while he was here that made Trooper Taylor *look* so successful, I cannot help you.

If Auburn needed motivation to beat a 2-2 team and the only way they got it was from some rednecks sending in hate mail, then I'm sorry for them. I say they might have beaten us even if no one had sent in those nasty, mean junior high school attack letters.

What is hilarious is that half this board was begging for him to come back to UT...He was worthless then and is even more worthless now...Let them keep that loud mouthed chest bumping moron.

Yeah, because Auburn's wide receivers really beat the crap out of us last weekend. Their leading "wide receiver" had 2 catches for around 29 yards on an overrated and worn out secondary. If you take out the catches their RB's put up on us out of the backfield, you'd lose about 120-130 yards passing. Their receivers barely contributed. Gus Malzahn can take about ten times more credit for that victory against us than Trooper can. Trooper also had the best trio of WR's Tennessee has seen this decade during his time as WR coach, not to mention David Cutcliffe to thank for fixing Erik Ainge. He can thank Dez Bryant and crappy Big 12 defenses for his time last year at Oklahoma State.

That brings me to recruiting.

I love this board, but nothing on it has EVER been more false. No member of Tubby's "BBQ gang" has been/will ever be as solid a recruiter as Trooper Taylor. Fact.

Wrong. Very wrong.

I guess the last several years of watching Tubs, Gran, Knox, etc. recruit so horribly gives me no insight on the subject.

We had 8 scholarships left unused. Gran was allegedly tubs 2nd best recruiter. That's a big big fail.

Wow.

When I thought the stupidity couldn't increase anymore around here, it just did exponentially.
