I'm calling it right now. I'm mad at UT and will save my rant for later in the week when I can try to be a little more rational. Something I will not change my mind on is the fact that I think "Troop" will be our next head coach, probably next season. With the way Croom has flamed out at Mississippi State and he's on the chopping block I could see Troop replacing him as the lone African American coach in the SEC. I'm not trying to start a race debate or anything but I would imagine the SEC would look highly on another minority coach getting a chance. With my impressions of what will happen this year with Fulmer I can see Taylor being his successor.

I think what will happen is that Phil will voluntarily step down after the season. Over the last couple of seasons he's really started to look haggered and I wouldn't blame him for stepping out of the fire and letting someone else take a swing at it. He's already set for life and if he steps down he could "appear" to be trying to do what's best for the University and the program and people will have a better fuzzy feeling about him when he leaves. Of course, this is just my opinion and who knows what will really happen. But if it does, you heard it hear first. If I'm wrong it won't be the first time.

Will not happen, even though I love my Trooper. He will have to become a coordinator first before that happens.

TT will not become HC at UT. Ever.

I wouldn't say never, but he won't be one without at least 5-7 years of coordinating offense or defense. I would love him to be our coach, but there's nothing wrong with Fulmer, it's just Fulmer's defensive hand needs some work.

Is Fulmer not responsible for special teams? That lost us the game as much as the defense did. Who's decision was it to not get any points when we had first and goal inside the five?

That's because instead of smashing their mouths at the goal-line we tried to be too cutesy and pass it in. I blame Cut on that one.

Soooo.... Cut is completely responsible for the offense and Chavis is completely responsible for the defense. What exactly does Phil Fulmer do, anyway?

Closes the Ryans down every time he walks in the door. Then come to tape his show with marinara sauce on his cheeks and shirt. Then he makes excuses.
