Saban is widely perceived by Michigan State fans as having screwed them.

Hard to make a case for him having screwed LSU, though.

I just love how a win over UT legitimizes a Bama season. 3 examples:

1) Even though Bama couldn't score a TD on the worse UT team in 20 years in 2005, it inspired a Daniel Moore painting titled "Rocky Stop" and sold for $500.

2) Regardless of a 7-6 season in 2007, the win vs. UT was so monumental that a video was made to exploit their delusional fanbase out of $30.

3) And although beating a 3-5 UT in 2008 doesn't deserve a portrait or video, fans can still be exploited by purchasing their "You got smoked at home" t-shirts. UF t-shirt designers said they would have made similar shirts the last four years but their fans are not as desperate and low as the Bama faithful.

So true, that's what makes this V so wonderful. :dance2:

As I reazd this thread I think to myself...why are these trolls so boisterous(sp?)...was it the big win over that mighty clemson team, perhaps thumping tulane gave them confidence - oh and lest we forget that HUGE win over WKU, AR, and KY - Bama has one quality win over UGA - and if there were 10 more minutes in that game I doubt they would have that. So ask yourselves - what has Bama done to be #2 in the rankings?

They are undefeated in the SEC, they beat the #6 team in the nation, the same team who was ranked #1 in the preaseason, on the road like a rented mule. If TN had played the same schedule and were undefeated I am sure all of us would think they should be #2...

They play week in and week out like they are the #2 team in the nation, you might not like them but you have to put them where they are.

Bama was the better team...plain and simple. Saying that, I still think Bama finishes regular season with 2 losses

I don't see an offense that can score enough points on them to take away their running game.

Now if they play UF in the SECCG, they'll have problems

That would not surprise me in the least bit. They are about 2 injuries away from being a decent team to back to average. They are definitely not a great team. A decent team which is occasionally good.

I think LSU and Auburn (in some crazy way) beats them. For some reason why gut tells me this, so I am going with it. The rest of the season will be fun to watch. Maybe we can get lucky and win the Independence Bowl. I bet we can get directions there from Bama fans

LSU's QB will cost them that game....and Auburn is going to be crushed by Bama....but what I hope to see is Florida getting to the SECG and stomp a mudhole in Bama.

No, Bama gets past both Auburn and LSU. But Florida is a different story. Seriously, they look scary right now. Perhaps, the best team in CF.

It's all we have at this point, can you blame us?
No, I can't blame you at all. I am enjoying while it lasts.
Hope you guys can seperate the two type of fans, and understand that some of us are good people who treat you like you should. A RESPECTED RIVAL, who will return, and keep this a RIVALRY!!!!!!!
There are plenty o' rivalry in college football, but I think the Alabama-Tennessee rivalry is the best!!!!!!!!

Which two might I ask? I think we MIGHT lose to LSU, and there is always the possibility of losing to Auburn, but was curious as to which two you had in mind?
NEVERMIND.........I see you have already answered!! Carry on............

LSU on a good day could beat Bama. Auburn stands no chance, and I'm sure all of the Bama faithful are already licking their chops in anticipation of the Iron Bowl this year. I think Bama vs UF in the SEC Championship game would be one hell of an event. I'm sure Nick Saban can find a way to slow down the UF offense.

I agree with the first part. Right now, Florida is off the hook. I don't know how but they like a completely differnet team form the first half of the season.

LSU...and Auburn. Something bout that rivarly always brings out the best of both teams.

BTW, you and Roll Tide Rev are some classy fans. If more fans were like you guys (on both sides) this would be a true rivarly, not a immature, ignorant rivarly.

Hopefully RolltideREV and myself can lead by example and "weed out" some people's ignorance.
I just thought about what I said and realize how "ignorant" that sounded, sorry but I had to try.:)
