So I've been to Florida before, and I have been to a Florida game or two here in Knoxville and have to say, the Gator fan base as a whole is probably the worst in the country. I was wondering if anyone who went down this weekend had any horror stories.

This was my first time to Gainesville aswell, I was also worried about going with all the stories I had heard. But I had a great time everyone at the stadium was nice of course got some chanting but usual stuff that all fans chant. Only incident I saw was at our hotel in Ocala 2 gator fans came in taunting everyone at the bar and got into a fight with an older UT fan because he said to our fan F-TN so the TN guy punched him first. The gator fans were immediatly arrested because they were drunk and we had a ton of florida state police, sheriffs and ocala police at the hotel because we were staying at the UT team hotel.

Market St Pub was a pretty cool place. I got several weird looks but for those who actually said anything it was tame and pretty friendly.

Overall it was a pretty good experience for me. you would get a couple hecklers but nothing to bad. not nearly as bad as the 2007 bama game. alot of the older gators were very helpful and loved talkin SEC football. I did my best to get along with a bunch of them. when we went by the Oscar Meyer car I said "looks like lane drove down in that" and things of that nature. received many laughs. nothing to bad other than one guy telling me to "get the f*** out of here" after i stopped and turned to get him to repeat what he said he backed down. I was also requested to sing rocky top by a bunch of gators which i proceeded to do, despite my brother saying dont.

Gainesville is a fun college town though. If it wasnt in the middle of nowhere i would have given it serious consideration last year.

Also the women are gorgeous
