With our apparent ineptitude on offense, wouldn't you like to see some trick plays drawn up to possibly get a cheap score? I'm suprised we haven't seen more to this point, but I don't have any faith that our offense can move the ball in a conventional way against an NFL caliber defense that Bama will bring to the table.

If you can't properly run normal plays, how in the world can you successfully run trick plays.

I'm just saying, a halfback pass or a double reverse pass wouldn't hurt anything. We're gonna get killed either way so why not throw the kitchen sink at them?

At this point with a new center and the backup QB we are hoping to throw a few spoons at them.

I still can't get over the fact we lined up incorrectly last week after a punt/Tv timeout...

If we had someone who could pass the ball (besides Bray) better than Simms, I think they would be playing QB. Also, with Da'Rick in Double/Triple coverage Zack Rogers will still drop the pass even if wide open. I would only trust Rivera to be able to catch the ball, and no one besides Bray seems to be able to see Rivera.

I'd like to see more creative ways of handling the immense pressure they're gonna throw at us with their blitz packages. Anyone remember that little shovel pass to Young just behind a blitzing LSU defender? Simms did a good job sniffing that out, let's hope he can recognize more stuff like that against Bama.

We need sanders back to run a well timed trick play that loses 15 yards and changes momentum.

A trick play is anything another team hasn't seen you do, so I say any run more than 6 yards would be a trick play for us

Just watching UT/UK reply 1995 Jeff Hall 50 yard field goal. When is the last time we could say that? UK gets big lead defense played awful. That included Al Wilson and Leonard Little.

i think we should just try to run the triple option..that and fake punt it every time..if we are gonna get stomped at least make it enjoyable to watch. if we win the toss i hope we defer and then onside kick right off the bat. maybe we can wear bama jerseys so simms can hit the receivers? just my .02

I say we shrink the field by kicking onsides at any chance. Make them only go 50 yds on us so our D doesn't get pounded for 80 yds and a longer drive.
