I was expecting some wildcat, some trickery etc with Jimmy 'Jet' Holiday either taking direct snaps or razzle-dazzle thing ..

Nothing yet. Do you think we are waiting till Jimmy gets more comfortable with offense ? Or saving for the big boys like GA/AL ?

Would love to see his speed and QB abilities utilized.

Thoughts ??

Trick plays don't work against the top SEC schools. The refs whistle the play dead as soon as they notice what you are up to lol.

Good question.

I have no idea if Chaney will dial up his old reliable slot WR-jet sweep pass we tried 3 or 4 times last year with Jauan Jennings. Kinda sucked though because the one time we finally hit it, it got called back on a flag.

We usually see our shot a trick play during the first few possessions. I bet we won't see the flea flicker attempt like we tried against USCe again.

Not sure if Jimmy Holiday has earned Chaney's trust enough to try the jet sweep pass short of being behind two scores.

I'd look for something from Dee Beckwith if we're gonna try anything. Camp reports said he was getting allot of looks as the wildcat QB, slot back, and even 3rd down RB. All that aside from WR he was recruited at. He played a little QB throughout HS as well.

Let's show off one more young playmaker!

Might see some more wrinkles later in the season but they've had limited practice time. Usually you'll start to see some of the whacky stuff they've been saving during the first big game so stay tuned.

Love a trick play on occasion. Bobby Bowden built a program with them. As did Boise State
