You can’t do it often as teams will play for it but I remember watching a game(not this season) when our rugby super star punter could’ve ran 20yards before anyone noticed

He is supposedly fast and has a good arm as well.
Would love to see it utilized but only if successful of course! 😁

yeah, I see it in NFL too. You see teams like KC who use fake reverses, jet sweeps. Any time Brazzell touches the ball he's a missed tackle away from taking it to the house.

I’ve been waiting for Jackson Ross to take off and show us his elite speed or maybe even throw the ball with the precision accuracy it was rumored he possessed…

I forgot that the staff actually talked about this last year as a benefit of having him at center. I just get a feeling that the better we've gotten, the more conservative JH has gotten...I could be wrong.

Everything posted in this thread and I just realized...Georgia Techs entire offense is a gimmick and they are Top 25 team.

Maybe OP is into something...

We have a punter that can kick with either leg and has a great arm. One of these days in the right situation before he leaves I hope we see him show us. I know you can’t plan for it but he has the skills to be good at a fake punt or a surprise pass. He runs well too. GBO

Funny the fans on here that offer constructive criticism and differing observations get called that. No i don’t piss sunshine every minute as a Tennessee fan i’m critical when i need to be and give praise to the team and coach when it’s warranted. I’ve spent 650 bucks on tickets going to two games already this season and i’m going to the OU game as well so i’m a obsessed Tennessee fan and have been watching UT football for almost 40 years now. I think i know a thing or two about a thing or two regarding Tennessee football.

Actually, if you go back and watch the game it looks like they were going to run one, but it didnt work because of a penalty. It didnt look like it was going to work anyway because MK juggled the snap.
