This kid is as good as advertised. He was blowing open holes and plowing into the second level all game. He honestly looked like a man among boys out there. My gut tells me that barring injury he will be a Freshman All American at the end of the year. Seriously this kid is a True Freaking Freshman. Can you imagine how good he will be once he gains experience.

QD and JG can rest easy knowing they got this kid protecting them for the foreseeable future.

He had some really bad whiffs tonight, but for a freshman he did fantastic.

I don't know who or how but somebody seemed like they got into the OL's collective axxes at halftime. They came out playing much better the second half and when we really needed it, no matter right or left side, the OL stepped up and crushed them including Trey. Really proud of his game tonight.

Recently, during some media time, they looked scared of him. He just turned to them and said something like, "Dont worry. I wont eat you."

Yeah, he was talking about the way classmates look at him on UT's campus. I'm glad he doesn't have that same mentality on the football field. Had a great game tonight. Excited to see him continue to get better this season.

I'm from the Jackson area and people that are Alabama fans were on my fb feed last night cheering on Trey. He is the biggest player to come out of this area since Al Wilson. Everyone is proud of him and man is he a mauler. He looked great last night and feel like he only gets better. Didn't think he would be at guard at the beginning of spring camp but man he looked quick and really good pulling and smashing fools.

Everything advertised. I was very concerned about a freshmen on the Oline. That man is no freshmen. When we pair him with the Oline we got coming in nobody is going to touch our QB. JG or otherwise

He's got a bit of mean streak that most of the recent OL have not had. As DooleyOrangePants said, he brings up the play of others around him. Special players have that ability.

He had 2 former NFL linemen working with him in high school. He is not a typical freshman. He has been groomed for this for a while. He will only get better and better. It's about time we have some nastiness back on the OL.

If Cade Mays can come in next year and be at the same level that Trey is playing at. Man look out Ty Chandler will have some numbers( thats just assuming John Jelly Kelly goes pro after this season.

He was a man among boys and I love the fact he is a Vol. Finally a player who looks like Tarzan and plays like Tarzan.

We better enjoy him why we can because barring some sorta injury he will only be here 3 years and will be a top 10 pick.
