New material is not needed. Same agenda. They are obviously not fans and have a vast playground in VN.

what do you guys see as the future starting offensive line 2017 and beyond. with the addition of trey i think someone will have to move positions.

my predictions

2017- Richmond, J rob, coleman, jack jones, (hall,trey,kendrick) dont really know who will start there

2018- richmond, boulware, jack, hall, trey( could flip flop richmond and trey right and left tackle)

This is where we are really at, not that doom and gloom place so many on Vol Nation have been raging about for too many days.

"While Smith said there was “no certain moment” when he knew he wanted to play for the Vols, he said spending time with Tennessee offensive linemen Coleman Thomas, Jack Jones and Jashon Robertson during his visits with the Vols helped him feel comfortable in Knoxville.

“Just kicking it with Coleman, going to his house. Jashon was there. Just talking to those guys, seeing the type of people they are, they’re just my type of guys. They’re just my type of people, and I really enjoyed it.”“I will go back to one moment in my recruitment with Tennessee,” Smith said. “I got a chance to hang out with Coleman Thomas and Jack Jones, and those two guys — and Jashon Robertson; cannot forget Jashon. Those three guys were really key in my recruitment, I would say. Those were my player hosts every time.

Smith said he’s also excited about the direction of Tennessee’s program under fourth-year coach Butch Jones, pointing to the Vols’ 8-4 records in each of the past two regular seasons as a good starting point for what he expects to accomplish over the next few years.

“If you look at the history, they just keep on doing well,” Smith said.

“We’re only going to get better. We’ll get more recruits. We’re going to work hard. We’re just going to get better. That’s all you can hope for, so we’re going to work every day at it.”

I was talking to another volnation brethern, but since u want to comment Mr./Ms. Moderator. Shouldn't you be used to this type of behavior since this was site that was set up to cheer when your team does well or stone them verbally when the dont perform? I thought thats what a fan website was?

Not here man. This site is straight sun shine and everything is great on the hill. Only two types of people in this site "all is well vols fans" and alabama fans that troll this site posing as vols fans. If you express any variation of opinion, you fit in the second category. Sensitive bunch on here as well. Never miss a change to take any post you make out of context and bash you endlessly, consider yourself warned.

Saban was at Trey Smith's school yesterday trying to convince him. Literally. Bama had sent an assistant a few days prior and must've come back and told Nick they might lose him. So Nick figures he'll go himself and close the deal. Urban Meyer was also there.

Then today, Nick and Urban found out they lost.

Just saw ESPN's "College Football Live" (replay) and at the very end of the show they brought up the Trey Smith situation and showed a picture of Urban Meyer with Trey. The hostess said "The top high school recruit in the country is in Jackson Tennessee and that is where Urban Meyer AND Nick Saban were yesterday. David Pollack...where is Trey Smith going?"

Pollack: "He's going to Alabama...he's going to Bama".

They didn't even mention Tennessee as a possibility.

I just got home after a very long day and did not have a chance to check VolNation until now, great news to come home to after a 15 hour work day.

I am still disappointed that Clemson has come into our backyard and stole 3(including 2 in the shadow of Neyland) of our most talented kids, but getting Trey, makes me optimistic about this class.

Btw,Jordan Murphy, from Hattiesburg, will be our most productive freshman, next year.

I'm with you. I heard Drew Richmond was a beast. Last I saw him was on his behind about 3 or 4 times vs Vandy.
