Trey Smith chose the Vols even after growing up a Bama fan

Well its about time we had something go our way. We've lost many players who grew up Tennessee fans to other schools.

I don't buy that for a minute. If Higgens or Bell or anyone else truly was a Vols fan then they would be a Vol. If I had the talent to play and had a committable offer from UT I wouldn't even entertain offers from other schools.

I support that 100%. I blame the parents for kids not being Vol fans.

If the Vols ever do truly get back to winning championships it will be because of guys like Trey Smith:good!:

Exactly. I use an old John Stucky platform workout with 5 different cling movements that is great. This type of workout has not been going on for years in Knoxville.
You are right, and it has shown on game day for years.

People said same thing about Richmond. Wait till he gets on campus and gets hit by a SEC Lineman.

Different strength and conditioning coach. Not to mention Richmond's strength was in question when he arrived. It was the main reason he redshirted.

Was listening to Hyams and others talking about this on the sports animal the other day, he said basically that they have talked to several coaches and that Trey is much farther along then Richmond was at this point. He will be the strongest and most talented offensive lineman the day he steps onto campus... may even be the best player on the entire team. Coaches have said he is leaps and bounds ahead of where most kids are his age physically, a grown man. Trey is a once in a decade type talent like EB. He will start in year one.

These kids are making decisions that will determine their future and it takes more than being a fan to attend a school. If you are a top talent and don't think the coaches will prepare you for the NFL then you don't go there. Having North leave early and not get drafted along with Pearson who was the top juco WR looked horrible for the university and influenced Higgins decision as it should have. Now we have Malone leaving who will be at best a day 3 pick.

Just what this team needs. More talent and depth up front.

We all know that being a fan of alaBubba is a mental disorder.

I'm so happy that this fine young man was able to recover from it in time.

VFL...GBO!!!
