This is not a big deal. Back when Tennessee was good, there were fights every week. Now, remembering a a past video involving Trey and a fellow camper, this probably ain't over and Taylor may want to keep his head on a swivel for a while.

For all you hand wringing wimps whining about the boys showing a little fight, you need to realize this is a team building exercise!

The boys were down after Florida all blaming each other. Well that was fixed with passion and fire! Nigel fired the boys up. Jashon had a lil ole concussion, and shy got a shiner. They couldnt play for a while, but they got fired up nonetheless. The kids love it. Shows toughness, like the lord of the flies.

Just look what happened after that! We went out and all that passion and fire just erupted like a volcano's ass all over them minute(pronouced like they are tiny)men of Umass. Boom problems fixed with a lil innocent tussling.

That fired up, euphoric passion carried on over to the GA game. Darrel Taylor showed the doggies what for? Freaking wimp refs, never played the game i guess. Now they try to say he cant play first half against them chickens. Dang, they dont get it takes fired up passion to whoop somebody.

one player kicks another in the face causing stitches and you call it a good thing. team building...then call folks pansies. sad.

The point is, all the fighting is useless. It counterproductive to beat your teammates to death and cause non-football related injuries every week, if NONE OF THAT "PASSION AND FIRE" CARRIES OVER TO THE FOOTBALL GAMES.

From the outside, and reading tweets and body language looks like its hurting more than its helping. Maybe, just maybe a coach could possibly...i dont know... control and focus this passion.

I'm a wuss that just watches football, and sometimes thats too passionate so i stick to football movies. In those movies, teammates and coaches always break the fights up before doctors are needed, they say stuff like, "Save it for the other team."

I guess we are doing it wrong.

It is "counterproductive" to put your cleat in the face of a man who lost his helmet regardless of what happens on Saturday.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you're from bama. If what I gleaned is correct I'd say you possibly follow the Alabama football team as well.

You probably have noticed that the tide has enjoyed some success over the last few years, as far as football is concerned, some credit seems to go to the coach. I've heard good things about him.

so can I ask a question?

Does having a good, capable coach in charge of a football team help? Lets pretend Nate Saban was the Vols coach. Would that help with the problems we've had lately?

Do ya'll get shut out at home and have player's stomping faces and swinging helmets at each other?

That guy I initially started the thread.. based on this 1 tweet of course seems some what reliable. 17 hours before major news outlets let the cat out of the bag .

He posted a large string of tweets regarding a mysterious meeting with the AD and boosters and other admin regarding the termination of butch.. I wonder if I should take this guy seriously..

As also stated previously in another thread... If everything be true.. &#128184; is not the issue this time.

Seems legit...&#128513;
