Trey Coleman RB for UT has left team this morning

No it doesn't. You can only take 25 per class, no matter how many open spots you have. The days of guys like Jones finding loopholes to pull in a class of 30+ are over.

True, but not my point entirely. Any we lose now can potentially get us closer to that 25 number this year. The biggest point was removing misfits from the team so that everyone is pulling in the same direction. 25 a year means 100 every four. There is attrition room built into the system.

There's 4, plus Fant = 5, and they could even return CFA back there if needed. Furthermore, if it was up to me, I'd put Jauan Jennings back there in some role, trying to get the ball to that big boy in space.
Jennings is a Beast! So happy to have him back & at full strength. Should put @ LB so are pass rush would be something to watch again.

U all remember how this happened with butch and everyone just dismissed it like they are now ... THIS IS NOT GOOD COACHING !!!!

I'd say its a little different situation. This was a 5th string RB not the 1,000 yrd Rushing, potential UT record Breaker that Botch ran off.

What about Danial Helm , Hendrix , Vic , Preston . It’s never good to run a player off in season . U hurt yourself in recruiting doing that

If I took a job with a company and they told me to sit over there and wait cause they didn't need me now but there's a chance they might could use me in the future but they're not making any promises - I'd be gone that day. I'm retired so not a new generation young fellow. I'm sure all these guys come here to "PLAY" football knowing nothings guaranteed and they have to compete for a position. Once they figure out that they don't fit into the coaching staff's plans why wouldn't they move on to a new opportunity? Can't understand why so many of the fans (who most likely never played college sports, heck probably most didn't even play HS football) get so butt hurt when someone who is driven / competitive enough to play at the college level leaves the program when they're not a contributor? If they wanted to watch folks play football then they'd join a fraternity instead of going through all the practices.

Noone is getting butt hurt over this kid. It's the way he left and how he portrayed himself while doing it.

If you want to transfer then transfer. No need to make a big deal about it and blast it all over social media.

He just looks like a diva. And I damn sure don't want any divas on my football team.

There is not a player on this team that isn't expendable. Not. one.

Good luck to him. Bye. Don't care.

Especially when most people had no idea who he was.
