Would love for my Bears to get Daniel. He would certainly get a lot of snaps lol.

Good chance he gets drafted in the later rounds honestly. He has power, and most importantly, accuracy. He hit more coffin kicks than I can remember in years.

Great punter, but not terribly consistent. For every two he would absolutely obliterate, he would shank one. Joist my observation anyway.

Often times, teams do not want to spend much money on a punter. So they draft them in the later rounds or they get them via free agency like Palardy
I noticed last season that Miami released Darr so they could sign someone cheaper

Crazy to think next year the vols could have four starting punters in the NFL. I'd like to know if a school has ever produced at such a single position so well and often.

When you are the king of 3 and out what do you expect?

His real strength was not so much his yds per kick, but a high percentage of pinning the other team deep in their own territory. We will miss him.

Butch did some not so great things while here, but give him credit where it is due. Special teams played very well during his time here. Trevor has a lot of talent, but you have to give credit to the special teams play that accounted for a lot of those yards.

The punts that were not returnable was Trevor's punting and the Ray Guy award committee in Augusta totally dropped the ball when they failed to honor the best punter in the nation with the award Trevor Daniel earned.

The Colquitt clan had a lot to do with that. Still remember playing baseball against Craig, must have been 1967/68 in South Knoxville, as 12-13 year olds. He was a pitcher who mainly brought heat, and was dominant. My only claim to fame in athletics, came as a lefty playing right field in that league, when he had a no-hitter into the late innings until I squeezed a slow roller between 1st and 2nd (the ball had eyes as Milo Hamilton might have said) in our last at-bat. Those were the days my friends!
