How many of you are coming to Memphis for the game against the Tigers? Obviously there's a huge Vol fan base here and I'd be disappointed if at least a third of the Forum wasn't wearing orange.

What would really be cool is if we had more fans in the stands than Memphis. I don't know if that's possible - this isn't football.

Let me hear you.:search:

My old coach played at Memphis St. from '93-'96. He an incredible guy and could jump out of the gym.

I always wished C-USA had a dunk contest in that era so I could have seen Michael Wilson and Melvin Levitt square off.

Micheal Wilson played with the Harlem Globetrotters for a quik min and yes that dude could jump out of the gym i saw him one time touch the very top of the glass backboard. Also he played at Melrose in high school if im not mistaking.

Didn't we recruit Wilson unsuccesfully? Funny how much notoriety he got for his leaping ability... that so many people remember him despite not being a real impact player on the court.

I've been to a couple of UT-Memphis games back when they played at the Pyramid. I doubt we even had 1/4 orange, and Memphis wasn't very good at the time. I bet we don't get much more than 10% this go around unfortunately... its their biggest home game of the year and undoubtedly a very hot ticket.

Jason Smith. I don't think he was much of an offensive threat but probably rebounded and played D coming off the bench.

I lost his number when he went to coach his old high school in N.C., but he was my favorite coach and helped me out a lot.

We had a bad scrimmage one time and after he made us run suicides and all kinds of stuff for like 45 mins. The best shape I was ever in.

Well if you could jump and grab a quarter off the top of the backboard I would remember you, too.

:vava: either he's got big nads or he's not real bright . I don't think I could go into the vols student section with all my blue on and stay focused on the game or cheer the way I wanted to . I just wouldn't feel comfortable :vava:

Don't know. You guys really hate us a lot more than we do you. Sort of like UTC and UT.
