wtf tldrOk... had to back to page 1 to understand this tread.
Some insight from a road warrior. I filled 3 passports up in 15 years of overseas travel, and was able to climb the United charts to Primer Executive level... highest they had. So, I flew first class on all flights... US and International. I was spoiled big time to a point where I started to complain to myself about the service in first class. I was able to enjoy the major upgrade they made to the suites in first class... and that was sweet.
Then... I started to noticed after a 14 hour flight back to the US from Asia, I was standing in a line that was a city block long... what is this I say... don't you know that I am an elite business traveler and don't have time for this sheit?? LOL... did not matter, if you spend you dollars using plastic, you too qualify for the same awards that as a business traveler gets.
So... going to a lounge in O'hare for example turned into misery... over crowded and nothing left to feast on... WFT to do? Not much... airlines figured out how to make more money. So... road warriors like me took it in the shorts, while folks who rolled up CC dept managed to get a ton of point and some perks... but quickly they overloaded the airlines capacity to support an enjoyable trip.
I have not traveled overseas in several years, but when I did I had some of best service and hospitality that was out there... those were good times.

Gais, I'm looking for a good airline miles card to sign up for. Anyone have recommendations on anything they currently use?
