Transfers?

may, JUNE, July, August, SEPteMBEr, oCTOBER and then November signing.

if there was a requirement on this board to avoid redundancy on your opinion, very quiet for 200 days.

Have you ever been to an exposure AAU event?...There are often 100-200 universities represented at these events. You can get get cards from a "Walter state" and a "Florida State", level of college, in the same moment....Not unusual.

Been following your post for years. You love to point out how well young girls respond to your alpha male coaching. Obviously, you either have no experience with Division 1 prospects, or you are playing ignorant of what the poster was talking about. Handing out business cards to young recruits is not what he meant. He was referring to committed, already signed, and possibly already enrolled and playing players, which does happen.
You also, love pointing out how you have offered to coach UT players for the Summer, but UT has decided to go with proven Division 1 staff. So, please tell us, what Universities with which you have interviewed for coaching positions, and any players that your Alpha Male coaching, helped land division 1 scholarships?

Nor what I meant....I meant coaches at exposure events get business contacts/cards,,, not kids. Never meant that.

Also, ""how well young girls respond to your alpha male coaching" makes me a unilateral coach and no one is omniscient in coaching. There is no panacea. . . I simply exert that if you have alpha athletes, they need an alpha influence in some capacity, knowledgeable of their needs and able to read and answer those needs, within your network.

As for my assertions, I am ready to back up every word I say...I am as ready today, as I was a year and a half ago. And my qualifications will be decided on court... Some of us never got an opportunity to do what we are made to do,,,unless we pave our own way! And this leaves little in the way of "Resume" fodder"...I know basketball...I know how to teach and improve individual skills and mechanics...I know how to teach teams to be more efficient and fluid on offense...I know how to teach the players to initiate contact, knock the crap out of someone and get rewarded for doing so...I know how to read my kids and get them to try, when all the try is gone from them....Kinda hard to put that on a resume for this type of program...Wouldn't you say?

Yes I have been to thousands of said events and I have also seen coaches pass cards and have conversations with players who's university may be hosting that event telling them what they can do better for them that their current university isn't.

So again not saying this is what Coach Staley is doing but it does happen.

Start at a lower level and build yourself up. There are opportunities there but if you are only willing to accept at certain schools because you feel other programs are beneath you, you may never land that chance.

Not beneath me,,,

UT has a place in my heart. I watched in 1981 as they played in their first FF and stayed there throughout the duration. Never wavered to this day. And won't. I am a true VFL.

I wouldn't even consider such a thing as what I am attempting, myself, if I didn't think I could benefit the program.

ml, at this stage of my life, I can't take a traditional path...Too long. And I know the ambition before me is a mountain, but I have already climbed quite a ways up it and to turn back now...well...It's a long way to go down-and back up to where I already am...I guess I will keep climbing until I reach the top, or fall.

Oregon lost another player. Mallory McGwire, 6-5 sophomore forward is transferring from Oregon to Boise State. That is 4 players leaving. They were a top 10 team all year. I wonder if Sabrina (or someone else on the team) is becoming a cancer on the team.

You people are so smart...For some reason, you think that players want to come to Tennessee because of Holly. What has Holly done that makes you think a top ranked player is loving the idea of spending four years of their life with Holly?

Why else are they coming to Tennessee? You KNOW whose going to be coaching you, if they don’t want to be coached by Holly then they would go elsewhere.

No, she's not and neither is anyone else on the team. The players that left are leaving because they aren't going to get any playing time if they stay.

Yep, these players are going to be in for a major shock.

Whoaa, Holly is my coach! How did that happen?

Whoaa, everyone here wears orange and white! How did that happen?

Whoaa, I am in East Tennessee, Knoxville to be exact! How did that happen?

Whoaa, I am enrolled in a University and will have to take courses and declare a major! How did that happen?

This shock happens because Holly puts players in a trance and signs them without their conscious awareness and does so while their parents are on a safari in the Serengeti plane (having no means of communication with the outside world).

It is rather amazing how many players Holly has been able to sign under those very specific conditions.

Dawns at it again: Ashanti Abshaw 5’9” forward (Grad transfer) from Cleveland state. Taking a visit! Just saying. 😁

Dawn SHOULD be at it again. She’s doing what she gets paid to do and has the results to show for it. Only an incompetent coach would lose valuable pieces to their team and not try to shore up their roster. At least she’s EARNING her millions. :whistling:

Don’t be a hater. Not a good look. We are Tennessee and shouldn’t have to cry and complain when other coaches have success, much like other schools used to do us when Pat was at the height of her career. We just need OUR staff to handle business and stop being obsessed with others, especially over players we’ve never even heard of. Shyt sounds redundant as hell. :zeitung_lesen::horse::horse::

Checked her stats 40 percent from the field and 33 from the three. She did average 19 a game for Cleveland State but doubt she would get close to that in the SEC. She would help them but doubt she would be the impact player they need on the perimeter.

The recruiting can't be flawed you must recruit players with different strengths not ones with the same abilities. We have recruited great athletes but no great shooters. Every team that is going to be a factor for an NCAA title or Conference title needs three point shooters and mid-range shooter that are consistent and shot a percentage around 40 from the three and over 45 overall.
If we'd had that last season record is a lot better and we definitely advance a lot further.

That is not true " We have recruited great athletes but no great shooters". We sat a great shooter on the bench for 4 years, the initials "KD". We ran a shooter who won the Mickey D's championship shooting contest off. Makes you wonder where you get your facts.

Neither could play defense well enough to stay on the floor. Both were huge liabilities on the defensive end although I thought KD could've played more as a senior she seemed to be a lot better defensive player last season. Middleton left on her own she wasn't ran off was her decision and think it was a good one for her. She wasn't playing much for Tennessee last season up in Iowa expect she will have a much better opportunity and season.

Iowa State is known more for its motion offense, spacing, and shooting. It has never really been known for its defense. The defenses they often play is zone so that they play defense as a team (it makes up for their overall lack of team speed). Alexa will be their PG as their coach has already stated for next year so she will be matched up against some really good PGs (Morris for Baylor, Patterson/Sutton for Texas to name the ones just in their conference).

A) I have no idea who “Ivey” is. I post by the same name on The Summit as I do here.
B) I’ve been posting for a few months now but you’ve been so busy hating that you obviously haven’t noticed.
C) There’s no hazing, rite of passage or length of duration on a message board that gives someone more credibility than someone else. You’ve apparently been here a while and well....let’s just say I haven’t seen anything remotely useful that you’ve posted so that negates that line of thinking.
D) I swear you don’t want these problems. Find you someone else to play with. #KeyboardWarrior lolol :good!:

You can try and make this more than it is. Just made a statement about USC and their transfers! But you obviously need something a little more?
Such as :
Alisha Gray from NC
Kaela Davis from Ga. Tech.
Lindsey Spann from Penn.
Tea Cooper from UT
Alexis Jennings from UK

Looking at :
Amber Ramirez
Anriel Howard
Danny Williams
Nelly Perry

As I said: Dawn is at it again!

Don’t care how much she makes!
How great of a player!
How great of a coach!
How much the kids love her!
If these accolades are important to you then please spew this love fest you have with her on the South Carolina message boards....I am sure they will agree with you? JMO

After all of that mumbo jumbo, when you get through, you, sir, are a f_cking hater. Period.

P.s.—how are you going to be more concerned about a coach of another program while turning a blind eye to the shortcomings of the person who coaches the team you support? Sounds ass-backwards to me. Your criticism is misdirected. Lol

If it’ll get us in the Final Four two seasons in a row then Holly’s ass needs to be looking for transfers, too, hell. Lol. No love fest, just practical, non-emotional and not too insecure to give credit where credit is due. #GetLikeMe :dance2::dance2::dance2::thumbsup:

She was the Mickey D's skills winner as well as the 3pt winner.

KD never had a chance. Offensively, they should have had a hi-lo setup...On defense, she was too slow to guard most guards, but plenty strong enough and big enough to play the big forwards. Using her in a hi-lo would also force her big defender (If the matchup stayed the same) to the perimeter, opening up the boards a little more.

Middleton wanted to work throughout the summer on defense and driving....

Let it go PRG...BTW don't ignore them, if you ignore them, you will just wonder what they are writing in your absence of view...The way I look at it is until I see 500 posts, they're just passers by. . . . Choose your battles and let the ones you don't choose to fight,,shadow box.
