Maybe you’ll be right. Only time will tell. My worry is that those teams (due to early graduation) will have spots that can be filled by top talent on other teams to keep them from having any “holes” that can’t be filled. We will see how it all plays out.

I don’t blame the players here. They can go to another system and get drafted or stay and probably not. This is like a few of our past QBs and WRs. I think it depends on the system and coach.

CFB is basically minor leagues for the NFL and I don't see that trend doing anything but growing.
Huge $$$ changes everything in this world we live in, CFB is no different. I'm all for players getting a fair share of the pie. NCAA has been traditionally like an exploitation cartel and I'm all for changing that.

It shouldn’t matter and shouldn’t have anything to do with allowing a student athlete the ability to make decisions for their best interest. Sometimes situations change and in most instances you are allowed to make a decision to either move on or stay and fight it. Some of you are only thinking about your own personal fandom and not what’s in the best interest of these kids.

I would settle for just a little bit under fair share lol. The amount of money some of these people are making off of college football is insane.

I’m fine with only being concerned with my fandom.

You don’t think the players already get a fair share?
Ever check the price of tuition at UT?
Price of staying on campus compare to off campus?
Price of books?
What about all the “free” gear and clothing the players get? Name brand mind you.
Food? Yeah that’s provided as well, and not just Krystal’s or Mickey D’s. Real food.
Tutors? Yep, count them in.
Probably have enough left over for some extra “walking around money “
How much more of the pie do these kids want?
I can understand if the players names were being used for advertising and ticket sells, etc.
But once they sign the papers to attend, they represent the university.

And thanks to that UCLA b-ball player who caused a fuss and now we don’t get the pleasure of playing the best college football game by EA sports,

I think they're entitled to get whatever the market will allow, just like everyone is in our consumer oriented world.
Sorry somebody exercising their rights limited your gaming experience.

A player in good academic standing should be able to transfer at any time and begin play at the start of the following season. Just as academic transfers occur. Basically equal rules for school and student.

We desperately need D-Lineman, but I'm not sure that position is getting as many Grad transfers
