Hey, I am a Juco student in California wanting to transfer to UTK. I am wondering if there is anyway to get information on what is required to get in? I also want to know about getting information for a visit.

And you thought that this was the best place to learn more?

Perhaps you meant UTC?

When I saw the thread title, I was thinking, I hope he is a DT or LB from an SEC rival.

If you're flexible in your major, you might be able to get in state tuition. For instance, I think Nuclear engineering, materials science engineering, some nitch pre-law majors, etc.. all have options for in-state tuition for out-of-state students. Just a recommendation.

Also, I didn't transfer so I'm not knowledgeable on the subject, but I think the Big Orange screw might play in transferring credits for courses. Make sure your classes transfer.

I would try the internet. Maybe you could start a threat and gather information on internet usage.

I played ball for 3 years in high school. I was thinking about pulling a rudy and walk on but I dont know if my joints can take it.

All of my classes I am taking right now will transfer into the UC system, but I do not know about Tennessee. I was just trying to get more information. Maybe someone that did transfer would have tips or something.

I don't think people on a message board will be able to help with the transfer of courses. My guess would be you need to meet with, email, or call someone in the registrar's office and bug the **** out of them. Make sure everything is lined up. It's not like they will intentionally try to screw you, but things slip through the cracks, and they don't care if you let it happen. It doesn't hurt to be persistent and careful and annoying to them.

Like I said I'm not trying to scare you, but it's best to play it safe, because if something's wrong, it can be a real headache.

You never know who goes on here. I am planning to do that after this semester is over. Thanks a lot bro.
