If we could keep Cooper and Civil and the two incoming freshman I would be ok with that sure. Caldwell is not going to be successful here would have to change a lot of things and she is determined not to do so.
Agree keeping Civil, Coop and the recruits would be absolutely huge, would at least give a core to build around.

Again it would be the funniest thing in the world if Coop, after all the public drama, was one of the only ones to stay., I just want her at a place where she can actually relax enjoy and maximize her last year in college. Wherever that happens to be.

I'm still ok the ones that are going to break me down are Civil, Cooper, and Edwards. That will be the serious damage to next years team.

Now that WNBA player salaries will be higher, like others I would not be surprised if she forgoes her final season — IF she is close to graduating.

I think another year in college ball (under another staff) would be good for Coop, but a big part of me thinks that moving on might help get her out of her obvious funk. She’d have to get serious about her body, that’s for sure, if she wants to stick on a WNBA roster.

One poster suggested we should just shut the program down based on the comments of other posters, however, what we are seeing are frustrated fans who love the Lady Vols and the desire to promote Pat Summitt legacy. They know what happened to the Louisiana Tech’s of women’s basketball. Our Lady Vols are at a dangerous crossroad. They want a program they can get behind. Sadly, that decision is up to administration and to a great degree NIL donors. This fan base is passionate and deserves a good quality team on the floor.

I had to stop making donations by necessity, but if I hadn’t I suspect I’d be a little more hesitant to give money if I’m feeling like it’s being misused or even downright wasted. It’s already asking too much of fans and sponsors to bankroll players, but when our money is so easily collected and then, evidently, thrown onto a bonfire, that’s not right. Most people don’t have it like that. 😢

Agree, the energy there is the opposite of what DW has brought to the Lady Vol basketball program.
???
Dayum, girlfriend. I’m not a big Danny fan, but give it a break. The decision to remove oversight of the Women’s programs from an independent department was not his decision.

Don’t know what you’re talking about, the post was a response to this: (lvocd post #55)

If Missouri snags her, unless our team is greatly improved next season, I could see us taking a loss from them. All but Reisma will be back, and they supposedly have a good freshman class coming in. Plus, we already know Kellie is a beast in the portal. As hard as her team played this season, and as happy as they all looked doing it, that kind of energy is bound to be attractive.

What the hell does that mean? I said nothing of the sort. Perhaps you shouldn’t put words in my mouth.
I stand corrected. I mis attributed the quote. Having a rough run in this thread. My sincere apologies. Hopefully someone will step up and own the quote…

I just wanted to say I think this was a good idea, and my parade was not rained on 🫶🏼

I made duplicate posts only because discussion around Lyss really got shoehorned into the post about Deniya. Also, while they happened in quick succession, I did see them separately. This seems like a good way to consolidate our fretting or wishcasting for a better future!

Thank you 😊

So if Kim is retained, can we all go to the games next year just to boo her when she mass subs the players out 😂 which would be a lot of booing lol
Boo'n CKC is wrong person. It's DW. Please don't turn Big Orange pride into the new thug nation. No one boo's their kids when they do dumb stuff a few years, always want them to succeed.
