Has averaged 3.5fga over his career, not an guys who gonna search out his offense and I think he knows that judging by interviews with him...apparently Marquette folks thought he was done and not gonna use his extra year, so not sure what his thoughts are.I like that Theo kid but I wonder if he's wanting to go somewhere to be an offensive focus? Not every kid wants to come to a bigger school just to be a backup/spot minute rotation guy.
He would be perfect for us but is it perfect for him and his vision of his career?
Fair enough. Simply basing it off of a "what's good for us may not be good for him" mindset. It's not these kids jobs to make our hoops dreams come to fruition. Always prefer the kid to do what's best for him....I just at the same time hope that it's also what's best for our program we love ya know?Has averaged 3.5fga over his career, not an guys who gonna search out his offense and I think he knows that judging by interviews with him...apparently Marquette folks thought he was done and not gonna use his extra year, so not sure what his thoughts are.
Oh I agree 100%, I’ve not seen quotes from the kid so idk what he’s looking for...if he’s looking for similar to what he’s done for 4 years then we’d be a great fit.Fair enough. Will does a lot of really great work. I'd give him a follow if you don't already. It's interesting to see him think we need another guard and not a low-post rim protector, but I think his reasoning is solid.
Agreed, not to mention having Chandler. Our biggest issue last year was that we had nobody who could create for others, whether that be a PG, wing or post. We should have several who can do that this year I would think.I could go either way on this. However, if Aidoo, BHH, or Fulky give us any offense inside, that opens up the floor for better looks. Better looks will give us better shooting. We just couldn't rely on an inside game last year. Pons just took shots on the rise, and Fulky was not good. I am of the opinion that these inside additions help us all the way around.
I think it was BTO, but I know someone has floated the idea of us holding a spot for a potential mid year guy. Haven't seen that discussed in the last week or so, but that could still be a possible scenario.I think both the incoming freshmen big have potential to be starters early. But if you can land a 1 year transfer big that's got some established experience you absolutely take him.
Barnes could also hold a spot, especially if Fulk returns and he won't count it would make sense to save a spot if you can't land the right guy.
